Chapter 55

# Author's pov

June walked inside the bar at around 9 pm. She headed to the counter and ordered a beer.

"Ooh, Finn." She spoke in shock after she saw Finn at the counter. He was talking to the new lady bartender.
"Hey;" she said, and sat next to Finn.

"Hey;" Finn responded
"This is Liana and this is June." He introduced them both.

"It's a pleasure, June." Liana said, and extended her hand to shake June's.

"I don't think I would say the same about you." June responded
"Ooh, kidding. It's a pleasure." She rectified her statement  and shoke Liana's hand after noticing how worried she was looking at her.

"Thank you. I wouldn't want to be enemies with any of Finn's friends." Liana said calmly. She then kissed Finn and walked away to serve other customers.

"She's not bad but what the hell are you doing, Finn? You are still Gee's boyfriend." She spoke

"No, I don't think I am your friend's boyfriend anymore. She made her choice." Finn responded

"I know it might look like she didn't choose you but she loves you, Finn. She's just blinded and she will soon come back to her senses." June said
"You know that too, right?" She asked

Before Finn responded, his phone rang with a message notification. He unlocked the screen and went ahead to view the text then pressed play as it was a video message.

"Shit!" He exclaimed
The message was a sex tape of Georgina and Jasper and it was from an anonymous sender.

"Damn it! " He exclaimed again as he tried to lower his phone's volume.

Once the volume was zero, he raised his head and noticed everyone including June and Liana were staring at him.

"Watching porn in a bar? How bad is it?
"Can you still not get laid?"  June asked

"Shut up!" Finn spoke angrily as he dialled his phone. He forwarded the video text to June.
"That there doesn't look like she's blinded." He added, and stood up, picked his jacket from behind his chair and continued to wear it as he walked away. June opened the message only to scream out loud.

Liana quickly followed Finn outside.

"Hey; what's going on?" She asked as soon as she caught up with Finn.

"Do you want to leave with me? Let's go back to my place."

"My shift is not over for another hour." Liana responded

"You don't have to worry about it. You won't be coming back." Finn said

"What? What wouldn't I be coming back?"

"I meant you should ask someone to cover for you. Tell them that you are feeling unwell." Finn responded
"I promise you won't regret it." He added

"Okay,  I'll go grab my things." Liana responded, and ran back to the bar.
A few minutes later, she walked back with her coat and purse.

"Let's go." She said, Finn grabbed her hand and both walked to Finn's car, jumped in and drove away as June watched from the bar's door.

"Who would blame him?" June mumbled to herself and then walked to her car and drove away too.

Marcus pulled over at his house at exactly 10.30pm. He was with Beach. Both walked out of the car and walked inside and headed upstairs.

Walking past, Georgina's room, both noticed a do- not-disturb tag on the door.

"What's up with her. Why does she have this tag ?" Beach asked

"It was her first day back to school. She must be overwhelmed." Marcus responded
Both walked in Marcus room.

A few minutes later June pulled over at the Davis residence. She walked from her car and walked to the door. She knocked gently at the door. A few minutes later, Marcus opened the door.
He was shirtless. June glared at his perfect abs.

"Whoa!" Marcus exclaimed shockingly
"June! What are you doing here?" He asked

Before June responded, Beach walked to the living room from upstairs. She was wearing one of Marcus's shirt that June recognized as she had once worn it.

"Babe, what's she doing here? Did you ask her to move in again?" Beach asked

"No, he didn't. I shouldn't have come here. I am sorry." June apologized and turned to walk away.
Marcus followed him.

"June, please...

"Let her go." Beach spoke

"You should listen to your girlfriend." June shouted back. She hopped in the car and drove away.

"You didn't have to talk to her like that." Marcus spoke angrily and walked back in.

"I am sorry but I am your girlfriend and I know you had a thing for her. She's a threat to me." Beach said

"A threat?" Marcus asked. Beach nodded her head to mean yes.
"You don't have to worry about her. She won't even talk to me." Marcus said
"Good night." He added, and the walked upstairs.
Beach groaned angrily.

***The next morning**

At Finn's bedroom. Finn and Liana were sleeping together on Finn bed. Finn opened his eyes and yawned out as he extended his hands in relaxation.
He then went ahead and lifted the blanket on Liana's side.
On Liana's side, there was blood everywhere. Her neck was showing marks from Finn's claws.

"Ooh, that happened." Finn spoke calmly as he checked Liana's pause.
"Dead." He exclaimed with a grin on his face.
He then went ahead and dialled Gordon's number.

"I got a mess that need cleaning. I need your help." He said, and hanged up.

Thirty five minutes later, Gordon's black van pulled over outside Finn's house. Gordon, Nicole and the boys jumped out and walked to Finn's door. Nicole pressed on the door bell. A second later, Finn opened the door.

"That a big smile there. What's the occasion?" Nicole asked after noticing the huge smile that Finn was showing on his face.

"Come in." Finn allowed everyone in.

"You're in a great mood that doesn't match what you said on the phone." Gordon spoke
"What mess did you say you needed help cleaning?" Gordon asked

"Upstairs in my room. You can come see." Finn responded
He and Gordon walked upstairs.
Finn opened the door and allowed Gordon in.

"Holy shit!" Gordon exclaimed as soon as he saw a dead girl on Finn's bed.
"Isn't this the new bartender? What did you do, Peterson?" He asked

"I was kinda having a meltdown. I brought her home for sex and things escalated." Finn responded
"But the good thing is I still got laid. I feel great." Finn added

"You're so sick, Peterson. She was good." Gordon said
"But I don't give a fuck still." He added

"I'll get the boys to clean it up." Gordon said, and then walked back downstairs.

A few minutes later, Gordon's boys came back bearing items they needed to get rid of the body.

"How come you have those?" Finn asked

"The master teaches us to be always prepared." Tony responded

The boys wrapped the body in a body bag and cleaned Finn's room. Once they were done, they carried the body from Finn's room into the van.

"I don't even want to know what happened." Nicole said to Finn who had just walked downstairs.
"See you around, son." She added. She and Gordon left Finn's house.

Finn closed the door behind them and sat down in relaxation and lit up a cigarette.

"Life savers." He said to himself and chuckled lightly
