Finn's pov

The old man led us to to the garden. At a distance I  glimpsed at an old grave and I freaked out as I  started developing ill thoughts.

"That's not grandma's grave or mom's. "  My mind tried convincing myself but I wasn't sure whether I could believe it or not.

The old man stopped at the garden and threw his remaining cigarette away. Julia stepped on it. She was a smart detective and so, she must have known that cigarette fire could result into big fires that could in return cause greater damages.
I walked towards the grave and I could not believe what my eyes were seeing. On the tombstone my  grandma's name was scribbled.

I felt a thin sweat drop from my head to my face and my body started shaking. I tried to talk but I couldn't as my mouth was dried out for a second.

"What happened?" I finally managed to put up a sentence.

"She got very ill and when your mom took her to the doctor,  she was told that your grandmother was diagnosed with lung cancer. The doctor said that it was on it's final stage and there was nothing that could have saved her." The old man responded
"She died two days after she was admitted." The old man continued explaining and by the time he was done a tear dropped from my eye.
Julia caressed my shoulder.

"What about my mom?" I asked

"She left after your grandmother died. She said she could not take it. She had lost almost everything, you, Liam , your father and now her mother." The old man responded

"Where did she go?" Julia asked. It was like she read my mind as the same question was in my mind.

"It's a few kilometres from here. You will find her in this place." The old man said and handed me a small paper that had an address on it. I dumped it in my pocket and hunkered down on my grandma's grave.  I ran my fingers through the name on the gravestone.
I was devastated and guilty at the same time. I felt like I  should have been there to protect my grandma or at least take part in her funeral. I had failed her and I felt bad about it.

"I am sorry, grandma. Please forgive me. " I said and used my hands to remove the dirty that was on the grave. After the grave was clean I  said" Rest in peace, grandma. I hope to see you someday. I love you." and stood up

" Can I have some cigarette please?" I asked the old man and handed me a full packet.

"I don't need this much. One is enough." I said and extended the packet to him after pulling out a piece.

"You will need them, Son." The man said and walked away.

"Thank you, old guy." I said before the man disappeared.

I lit the one piece and puffed it silently beside my grandma's grave. Julia stood beside me staring at me.

"Thank you, Detective  Julia." I said and she hugged me. I hadn't expected that. I hesitated but then crossed my hands around her body.

"I am so sorry for everything, Finn." She said

Julia's body and my body were still tightly held together in a hug when I heard a familiar voice from behind. It was Georgina's voice. Julia quickly pushed herself from the hug.
At first, I thought I was just dreaming about Georgina but when She called my name for the second time I realized I wasn't. I turned my head back and saw Georgina standing right behind me.
I dropped my cigarette and stepped on it.

"Georgina, what are you doing here? Did you follow us here?" I asked in a tensed tone.
Before Georgina responded Jasper appeared and immediately fetched my attention. Memories of the night he almost raped Georgina crossed through my mind and anger started fuming inside making me forgot about Georgina's unannounced appearance. I hurriedly walked towards him putting on an angry face.
