I knocked twice on Julia's door and waited for her to answer. A few minutes later, the door opened and behind it stood Shelby.

Hello, sis." I spoke and Shelby smiled

"Sis, huh?" She asked
"Did you come back to your senses and realise that it was wrong to treat your sister the way you did?"

"Don't get excited. I am not here for you. Where's the Detective?" I asked

"Ooh!" Shelby exclaimed
"For a minute there I thought you came for me." She added
"Julia, he's here for you." Shelby shouted and walked back inside.
A few seconds later Julia came to the door.

"What do you want?" She asked

"I am here to talk." I responded

"Talk then."

"Are you still seeking my forgiveness?" I asked

"Yeah, of course I am. You see, I know what I did was wrong but I was just doing my job. I am so sorry, Finn." She apologized
"I miss you. You should come back to work." She added

"Would you do anything for me to forgive you?" I asked and she nodded to mean yes.
"Okay. I want every detail about my mom's transfer. Everything." I spoke firmly

"Why? You said you don't want to say goodbye."

"I'll help her escape. I am going to free her and you are going to help me." I said
"Now spill them beans." I added

"You're crazy to think that I am going to help you do that. I am a cop , Finn."

"You said you would do anything. Don't you want me to forgive?"

"I want your forgiveness but I am not going to put my career on the line for it." She responded

"Then I guess you are leaving me with no choice but to play the dirty card." I said

"What do you mean?"

"You're forgetting that I know your secret, detective Julia. I'll spill it. Everyone in the station will know about it and guess who hates Half-demons? The inspector, your boss, Julia." I responded

"You wouldn't dare!" Julia said

"Then you don't know me. You have no idea how far I can go if I want something." I said
"You have until midnight to decide. Goodbye, detective." I added and kissed her on the cheek and walked away.

Later that evening, Beach caught up with Marcus outside his shop.

"Hey;" she spoke

"Ooh, hey you." Marcus said and kissed her.

"Wanna hang out?" Beach asked

"Yeah, that wouldn't be a problem. Actually, I have the whole house to myself since Gee is away. You could come spend the night, what do you think?"

"I would love to." Beach responded

"Okay. Hop in then." Marcus said and both hopped in the car and Marcus drove away.

"Chop chop! Closing time, guys." June spoke excitedly.
"I'll see you tomorrow." She added and everyone including her employees exited the coffee shop.

"Finally!" She said as she turned the door tag to read closed.

Walking back to the counter, memories of Marcus asking her to move in with him played in her minds.
