Chapter 35

Author's pov

Marcus drove fast but keenly following the directions that Raven was giving him from the back seat. Raven kept shooting glances at Beach who was sitting next to Marcus.

"Here. That's Jasper's house."  Raven said pointing at a house that was a few meters away. It was big luxurious house. It was painted all white and it's porch was beautiful. Marcus pulled over.

"You both stay here. I'll do the talking." Marcus said and walked out of the car. Raven walked out of the car ignoring what Marcus just said.

"Marc said we should stay here." Beach told Raven through the window.

"Yes, I know and I choose not to listen to him. I am not like you. I do whatever I want." Raven said and rushed to catch up with Marcus who was almost at the door.

"Hey, Marcus." Raven called and Marcus stopped then turned to her.

"I told you to wait in the car."

"Yes, but I want to talk to him. I know Jasper very well." Raven said

"Your work here is done. You showed me the directions. So, I  do my part now." Marcus said and walked to the door and pressed on the doorbell.
A few seconds Jasper's mom opened the door.

"Hello, how can I  help you?" She asked

"Where's your son?" Marcus asked harshly

"Why are you looking for my son?"

"That bastard son of yours is...

"Marcus, calm down." Raven said cutting him off.  She then turned to Mrs Martinez and put on a smile before she begun talking to her. "
Hey, Mrs Martinez, we wanted to know if Jasper has any idea where Georgina is." Raven said politely

"Mmmh!" Mrs Martinez exclaimed

"She has been missing for two days now. She has not shown up at school nor has your son. And the last day I  saw Georgina, she was at school talking to your son. They left together afterwards." Raven explained

"My son has been missing for two days as well." Mrs Martinez said almost breaking down.
"We have no idea where he's. " She added

"Where do you think your son could have gone?" Marcus asked

"I don't know. His father and I have been looking for him without any trace. His dad is pretty stressed out. He has not eaten anything since he left." Mrs Martinez said and opened the door completely for them to see Mr Martinez. The poor man was sitting on a comfy couch with his hands crossed around his abdomen. He was constantly staring at a photo of his family with Jasper between him and Mrs Martinez. He looked pretty lost into his thoughts. 

" Thank you,  Mrs Martinez. I know Jasper will come back home soon." Raven said and turned to Marcus.

"Let's go." Raven said

"I hope Georgina will come home too." Mrs Martinez said and Raven nodded. Both walked back to the car and Mrs Martinez closed the door behind them.

"We will find her. Just go home and wait for her." Raven said.

"Yeah, sure." Marcus said and reached the car's door. Before he hopped in Raven stopped him.

"Hey, Marcus wait."

"What?" Marcus asked.

"Who's she?" Raven asked in a low voice.

"None of your business, Raven. Get in. I am taking you back your house." Marcus said and got inside. Raven hopped in and they drove away.

After about twenty minutes Marcus pulled over at Beach's house. Raven widened her eyes then spoke.
