Chapter 68

# *Author's POV*

Finn and Detective Julia walked from Finn's room and headed downstairs to the hall where the party was ongoing.
At the stairs, they bumped into someone knocking off their eye mask.
Both exclaimed at the glimpse of the culprit.

"Shelby!" Both called

"Finn, Julia," Shelby called their names back

"What the hell are you doing here?" Julia questioned

"What are you doing here, Julia?" Shelby shot back the question
"For Finn, I would understand because I know he's a Half-demon but you... I can't." She added

"Damn it! Nicky!" Julia spoke in a surprised tone

"What the hell is he doing here? You told them I had a brother too?" Julia asked while looking at Finn.

"No, Gordon did a background check on you and found him. He invited him to the party." Finn responded

"Damn it!" Julia said and walked to where Nicky was standing.

"It's good to see you, Shelby," Finn said

"I don't think I would say the same about you. You threw me out of your house. I haven't forgotten." Shelby spoke
"If you excuse me, I have to go find my mother." She added and walked away.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Julia asked

"Hello to you too, sis." Nicky Sutton responded sarcastically
"You can't even say hi to your brother? How long has it been five years?"

"Six." Julia rectified him
"Why are you here?"

"Gordon invited me and so I honored the invitation. He said he has a plan for the Half-demons." Nicky responded
"He said we don't have to hide anymore. That we can   now take control." He added

"When did he say all those things?"

"I was here earlier. I had a long conversation with Gordon and that man has a plan for us. Why do you think we are having this party? It's a game changer but he will be making an announcement soon." Nicky added

Before Julia could say anything, her phone vibrated from her purse. She retrieved it.

"Raven! Why she's texting me now?" Julia asked while staring at her phone.
Before she could even finish contemplating her worries, Gordon asked for everyone's attention by carefully slamming a fork on his wine glass.
He then cleared his raspy throat and then giggled weirdly before he began talking.

"I am grateful to all of you. First for honoring my invitation and showing up." Gordon opened his speech by thanking everyone.
"I also wanna thank my boys,  Finn and Nicole Peterson for helping us prepare for this great party.  It  wouldn't be possible without you guys." He added, and everyone applauded with claps.

"So, the reason we are here is because we should stick together. We are the most powerful beings on the planet and shouldn't be in hiding." Gordon spoke
"The hiding time is over." Gordon continued to speak as the other half-demons cheered him on.

"Another thing, we are still less but it should not be like that. We have the power to make more of us. If we are many then we can take over the world." Gordon spoke
The Half-demons mumbled happily among themselves
"We are going to donate blood to help transform normal people. I have selected the best of the best.
Everybody let's donate some blood." He added

The boys helped to distribute blood bags and syringes and everyone except Julia started to pump blood from their bodies.

"Go get those weak cunts." Gordon spoke.
Tony stormed away and a few minutes later, he came back with a group of eleven people.
