Chapter 39

Georgina's pov

I woke up and rushed into my bathroom and took a quick shower. It was on a Monday morning at 7pm and I had a biology test. After the shower I dressed up and took my backpack and went downstairs. I expected to find Marcus making breakfast or a ready breakfast on the table but, no. Marcus was not there but there was a note on the dining table from him saying " Office emergency."

"Okay." I said and rang Raven to pick me up. It didn't take her long to get to my house. We drove to school and caught up with Helena at the school gate. Her mom was dropping her.

"Hello, Mrs Wayne." I greeted Helena's mom through the car's window.

"Hello, Georgina and Raven." She responded
"How are you feeling, Georgina? Helena told me you got shot."

"I'm good, Mrs wayne." I responded and chuckled lightly. She reminded me of that awful day I got shot. I had not thought of it for days.

"You alright, dear?" Mrs Wayne asked and I nodded.

"Mom. I'll drive with them to the parking lot. You should go back." Helena said and stepped out of the car.

"Okay. See you at home, honey." She said to Helena then turned to us and said, "good day, girls" before driving away.  Helena got in our car and we drove inside the school. We parked at the student's lot and headed to the class chatting about the exams.
We walked inside and sat on our respective desks. Few minutes later Mr Thomas walked in. He had a big envelope on his hands.

"Good morning. Settle down 'because it's time for you sit for your paper. He said and started passing over the papers. Everyone settled on their papers and begun answering while i stared on mine. I felt blank. It's like was staring on something I had never seen before. I skimmed through the questions and had no clue what to write. I was too way engaged in my thoughts thinking about how I got shot, how I lost Finn and how Jasper was finally being nice. I skimmed through the questions again trying to shut my thoughts but I felt clueless. 

"Fuck! I can't do this." I mumbled to myself and stood up. I took my backpack and the question sheet and walked to Mr Thomas desk. As I walked  I could feel eyes on me. Everyone was obviously staring on me.

"Georgina Davis, are you through already?" Mr Thomas asked. Instead of answering him I dumped the question sheet on his desk. He looked it through and it was clean, just like he gave it.

"What?" He asked

"I can't do this. I didn't read for the test." I said and walked out.

# Finn's pov

I was sitting down with Shelby after breakfast. Liam was playing at the furthest end with his tablet.
I was happy that the old Liam was back and all was thanks to Shelby. She had pushed me to get along with Liam.

"Thank you." I said

"For what?" She asked

"For helping me with him. " I said and shot a glare at Liam

"Don't even mention it. You know that what family does. Make sure everyone is happy." She said. She was amazing and great than I had thought.

"Talking of family, you never told me how my mom is your mom." I said nervously
"Did she adopt you?" I asked

"Hell no!" She said raising her voice.

"What?" I asked

"I'm not adopted. Your mom, Nicole is my mom."

"How? I mean it's only me and Liam. My mom had no other kids. I'm her first child." I said and then paused to grasp some air.

"If you are younger than Liam then it would make some sense but you not."
