Georgina's pov

The next morning, I woke up and gave my body a brisk warm shower, dressed up and walked out of my room carrying my school backpack. At the dining room, I found Marcus eating their breakfast.

"I didn't know you were staying for the night,  Beach." I said and sat down

"I am sorry. Time disappeared right under my nose." Beach said and chuckled lightly

"You don't have to say sorry about anything and Georgina you don't have to question her about anything. " Marcus spoke

"Okay. " I said and served myself some coffee and scrambled eggs.

"I'll get going now, Marc." Beach said and stood up.
"Goodbye, Georgina. " She added

"I'll walk you out." Marcus said and walked with her

I hastily ate my breakfast and once I was done I stood up and started walking towards the door where I bumped into Marcus. I walked past him without saying anything.

Georgina." Marcus called my name and I stopped.

"What?" I asked

"You better watch out how you talk when I have my friends around." Marcus said angrily and instead of taking him seriously I laughed sarcastically irritating him.

"Why the hell are you even doing this, Georgina?" Marcus asked angrily
"Do you hate, Beach?" He asked

"No, but June is my best friend and I want you to be honest with her. Don't use her, Marcus." I said raising my voice.

"Shut the hell up you. I am not using her and you don't get to tell me what to do." Marcus spoke angrily

"Get the hell out of here, Georgina."  Marcus said and walked inside the house and banged the door hard behind him. I breathed in then out and walked away.

# Finn's pov

It was about one later since I dropped Liam to school and his bags at Alex's. I carried my bags that I had packed the previous night to my car and waited there for Detective Julia to arrive.
About ten minutes later, a cab stopped at my driveway and Julia hopped down. She was carrying a medium-sized ballistic bag that looked like it had heavy items inside on her hand and a small backpack on her other hand. I ran to her and offered to help her.

"Thank you." She said.

"What are these?" I asked as I carefully placed the bag in my car's trunk.

"Guns, tasers, handcuffs and some other stuff." she responded

"What? We don't need all those. We are not going on some bounty hunting. " I said

"It feels like we are." She said and grinned
"Anyway, I am just being careful. We don't know what we are going to find wherever we will be going." she added

"You are a smart detective. I like that for you." I said and chuckled. Julia giggled.

After we were done, putting the bags in the trunk we closed the trunk and sat on a bench that was set on my compound.

"I am sorry for hiding my real identity." I finally said after a shot silence dominated for a couple of minutes.

"I also kept my secret from you. We both lied and so no one is getting mad." Julia said

" How did it happen to you? Were you born like that?" I asked

" We don't have to talk about it." Julia responded

" My mom was a half-demon and my dad was a human. Liam and I were born half-demons like my mom. "

"My parents were both half demons. My brother and I took after them." Julia said
