Chapter 71

# *Author's pov*

Jasper walked in the classroom stomping on the floor thus drawing attention to himself.
He was putting on a sad facial expression and he was looking rather pale as compared to his normal glow.

"The king looks pissed. I wonder what angers him now." Julie spoke
She, Raven and Helena were sitting together.

"I think he's coming for us. Ooh, God, he knows." Raven spoke shakily

"You don't know that. Let's hear what he has to say." Helena spoke
All waited nervously.
Once Jasper closed the distance between them. He walked past them without saying a word giving them a relief.

"See, he doesn't know a thing." Helena spoke

"Are you okay, Jas?" Kenny asked

"Do I look okay to you?" Jasper shot a question back

"Why do you look so pale, man. Didn't you eat breakfast at home?" Isaac asked

"Or you are still hangover from the lake house party?" Alan asked

"I am tired because I took a fucking bus to school and it was so damn awful." Jasper responded as memories of his first experience in a public bus crossed his mind. He had waited for the bus for over one hour at the subway and when it arrived it was full and so he had to stand on the aisle supporting himself with a pole.
The passengers were all older than him and looked to be of a low social class. When Jasper hopped in, some had started murmuring among themselves while some spoke out loud calling him a rich boy using public transport.
Jasper being the typical Jasper had insulted them resulting in him being thrown out of the bus before his destination and forced to walk the rest of the distance.

"Why did you take a bus?" Alan asked
"You have never taken a bus in your life." He added

"Someone stole my car and drove it in a ditch wrecking it after scribbling it on the side calling me and my family jerks." Jasper spoke while looking at Raven,  Helena and Julie.
The girls mumbled among themselves.

"What! That's terrible. Who would do that?" Isaac asked

"I don't know but I'll find out. " Jasper responded and sat on his desk.

"I think they did it. They left the party and I told you they had your phone and my camera. You have to believe me. I wasn't lying." Kenny spoke

"I want to but there's no evidence, Kenny. We have to find out how they did it." Jasper spoke

"We? Am I back in the gang?" Kenny asked

"Yeah, but if I find out you were lying then you are going to regret it."

"Thank you, Jas." Kenny spoke happily
"We could meet up after school and plan on how we are going to work this out. What do you think? Your place, Jas or?" He asked

"I am grounded and I am not allowed to have friends over. Whoever wrecked my car screwed my life and I'll screw theirs." Jasper responded

"Good morning, everyone." Mrs Kiana spoke as soon as she walked inside the classroom.

At the Davis residence, Georgina and Marcus were sitting in the dining room enjoying breakfast that Marcus had prepared.

"When are you going to go back to school?" Marcus asked

"I am not sure. I guess I need a little more time." Georgina responded

"But you can't take long. You missed school for a whole week when you were gone."

"Yeah, I know but I'll make up for it when I go back. I can take extra hours for the classes that I missed. I know the school will allow it." Georgina responded
