Georgina's pov

We barely said anything on our drive to wherever only God knew Finn and the detective were taking us. Finn was driving fast that I barely saw Jasper and the detective from the side mirror.

"Don't you think we should slow down to let them catch up with us?"  I asked

"Julia is aware about where we are going." Finn responded still focusing on the road.

"Where are we going?" I asked and waited for him to respond but that didn't happen.

"It wasn't a rhetorical question." I lashed out at at him and knocked the space between us in attempt to fetch his attention but he still said nothing. He instead removed a cigarette from his pocket and lit it up then continued to smoke it.

"You can't go smoking in a car. You know a car has a  highly flammable petrol and that cigarette could reach it and if that happens only God knows if any of us could come out of this car alive." I said and Finn shot a harsh glance at me but still said nothing. He then turned his eyes back on the road.

"Of course, you can't die. You are a halfdemon and fire is not something that could easily kill you. Poor Georgina, the weak human will be the one to die and join her poor parents in... " I stopped talking and faced away as a tiny tear dropped from my eye. I had pulled the act way too far that I ended up hurting my feelings
I wiped the tear drop away and turned back to Finn.
Finn pulled over at the side of the road.

"No one is going to die." Finn said then put off his cigarette and threw it out through the window.
"And stop talking like that, Georgina." Finn added

"I am so stressed right now.  I just learned that my grandma died and I was not even there to look after her when she was sick or at least attend her funeral. " Finn continued talking. He was sounding pretty angry.

"I am sorry, Finn. I didn't...

"Shut up." Finn said in a raised voice cutting me off.

"And that wasn't enough because I still didn't find my mom and to add on it you show up unannounced with a guy who almost... " Finn paused and gasped for some air then continued talking.
"A guy who almost... You know what, Georgina ." Finn said and then bit his lower lip and then without a warning hit the steering wheel angrily and startled me.

"I don't know what that makes you, Georgina. I still can't believe you did it. Did you just forget what that bastard did to you?  The pain he caused you?How scared you were lying on that floor half-naked with multiple guys playing with your body? How about how he ruined your reputation, Georgina?" Finn shot all questions that his mind could possibly think of making me feel bad about myself.
It didn't take me long before I started dropping tears from eyes.
Finn reminding me of the night of the party made me realize that I was still hurting.

The Detective and Jasper finally caught up with us and Julia pulled over beside us and opened her window.
I wiped away my tears quickly but my eyes remained wet and someone didn't need to ask if I had been crying.

"Are you guys okay? Why did you pull over?" Julia asked glaring at me. Jasper was also staring at me with a questioning face. I ignored by leaning down on my laps where I continued to dry my eyes.

"We are good. We were waiting for you." Finn responded
"Let's keep going. We are almost there." Finn added and drove away. Julia drove behind us.

# Finn's pov

Georgina and I never talked again and she even barely looked at me. She faced down the entire time and I was still angry that I didn't even bother to ask if she was okay.
One hour later, we arrived at the address that the old man gave us. It was a house that was in a very quite rural place.
We pulled over and walked out of the cars.
