Damin stared in fascination at the gold and black card in her hands. These girls never ceased to make her proud.

Ceo of Vogue?!.

Even though she didn't know the trendiest things these days, she for sure knew that global brand.

Who doesn't know vogue?.

"Okay. Let's get this right. What's vogue?. Is it a big thing?"

Her mother doesn't. Gu Seolran, really.

Damin glanced at her old mother. "Eomma, Vogue doesn't lie just within our country but beyond. They are a fashion brand, a magazine brand and what not. To appear on the list of vogue, you must be really influential. Not to mention being the ceo"

Dayeon smiled bashfully. Her mother was really learning from the best. Her.

Seolran didn't get that but it must be a big thing. "Okay. So our Daya is going to cook for the Ceo of Vogue and her friends?"

"Exactly, eomma. You finally got the hang of it", Damin said. She passed the beautiful card to her mother and the old lady took it, trying to decipher the writings on the card. Damin pointed down to the very bottom. "That's her name"

Seolran squinted her eyes. "Lalisa Manoban?", she looked at her daughter. "That's not even a Korean name"

"It's not a Korean brand for goodness sake, Haemoni. It's global. G. L. O. B. A. L. Global", Dayeon moved her fingers in the air. "So the Ceo mustn't be a Korean person even though it's Vogue Korea. She is Thai. Her Korean is even more fluent than lots of our Koreans"

Daya just let them talk like she wasn't here. She bit into the bean bun her mother made for dinner. She was still flattered that she talked to not just people who work with the vogue magazine but also with their ceo and even struck a deal with her. This is nuts. Nari never said anything about Eunha working with vogue. No wonder she looked like a fashionista the two times she met her. Whoa. This is crazy. What plenty Seoulites will do to be in her place. Vogue. Her mother and Dayeon didn't even have the slightest clue of what Vogue really is. Yes. They knew it was a big brand but it was so much more. A luxurious magazine and fashion brand where celebrities headline.

This is truly nuts.

"And they gave this cheque to you?", Seolran asked, raising the two cheques.

"Yeah. As tips. They left it in the tip cups for us", Dayeon grinned hugely. This was money. A sum that they couldn't make in a week. 500 thousand won each, that equates one bloody million won as tip. Just tip.

All employees in Mary's diner were shaken up at the sum when Taehyun brought it to the girls. Seungcheol was really, really proud of them. If it wasn't for Daya's recommendation, influential people like that would never have come to their diner. Seungcheol even requested that Taeyang gets their autographs. Something they framed this same day, and hung them proudly around the diner.

Talk about bragging.

"Yoon Nari must be really fluential", Damin said.

Daya scoffed softly. "Which family in that shool isn't?"

"Us", Dayeon replied the rhetorical question. "No shades. Peace"

Her grandma and mom scoffed. "It's true. Shades recieved. If they probably grade them by their class in society. Daya will be the lowest", Damin stated.

Even without the official discrimination in societal classes in SKKU, they still tramped on her. She was still the lowest. Why it wasn't that much of a ruckus was because of the boy who had her back lurking in the shadows.
