"Eomma, do you think they will eat this?", Felix asked for the nth time, watching his mother pack up food in big containers for her friends and their families.
"Why not?", his mom asked back. She pushed it to him, "Give this to Jisung's mom"
"Eomma!. Please, just stop this. This is madness. You can't be making weird dishes that you make up", Minho snapped.
His mother frowned. "It's a hobby, and I didn't make it up. Give this to Hyunjin's mom and Yeji's mom", she pushed the two flasks to him.
"Atleast make Korean dishes then, please. Everything online shouldn't be practiced", Minho lectured.
Their mom pursed her lips. "Fine. I committed a sin by giving birth to nonchalant kids who don't care about their mom's happiness"
Gaslight.
Ari glared at her brothers. "Cut it out please. Eomma, pack up", she smiled softly at her and her mom smiled back, packing more food.
Minho sighed. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you but please, you can make new Korean dishes too. Try it"
"But all my dishes always turn out good", her three kids grimaced, "Okay, maybe not all but most of them do"
"Eomma, if you can focus on Korean culinary, it will benefit us all and all your dishes will really be good", Felix suggested.
"Really?. You think so?"
Felix nodded with full hope that she would listen to him.
"Okay. This would be the last. Korean cuisines only, from today", her children all exhaled in relief, even the ahjummas in the kitchen. The pretty woman chuckled. "Was it that bad?"
"You have no idea", Minho mumbled quietly. His father will definitely throw a celebration party at this.
"Ari, deliver this to Seungmin's home", her mother said giving her, her second delivery to make.
Her brothers glanced at her. "Eomma, why her?", Felix asked, slightly disturbed.
"Why?. Is there a reason she can't go?"
Their parents were oblivious to their situation so Minho shook his head. "None at all", he leaned down to Ari's height. "Behave, when you are there", he moved away. "Felix, let's go"
Ari cleared her throat softly. "Eomma, I will be back"
Her mom nodded, urging her on.
Now, my friends won't have to bother with preparing lunch and dinner.
She smiled proudly. "Ahjumma. Come let's clean up", the two older ladies who worked with her came over and together, they started cleaning up the kitchen.
She might have made a mess, but aleast she has a kind heart.

Ari watched Seungmin's house from the back seat. It's been really long since she just casually came here. She only came over for official events now, or with her brothers. Long ago, when they were still the best of friends, she literally lived here.
"Ari-sshi, I will wait in the car then"
"Uh, uh, yeah", Ari said, snapping out of her daze. She got out of the car with the neatly wrapped food containers. Taking one deep breathe, she began her walk to the overly familiar house.
Ding dong.
The voice intercom buzzed first. "Who is it, please?"
