Yesun peeled off the beauty mask on her face, upon her phone's ping. Picking up the gadget, she smiled at the sms she just recieved.

From Seungmin's mom.

Our Yesun-ie, it's your birthday today, right?. I didn't forget. Happy birthday, you pretty ray. Join me for dinner by 9pm?.

Yesun's smile was a full blown on grin now, her pretty manicured fingers typed her reply as fast as lightening could be.

Sure ma'am.

Alright. I will make sure to bring him with me. See you by 9 at Seonro suites.

Yesun's eyes widened. Huh. Seonro suites had to be one of the biggest hotels in the country and she was meeting her there?.

My birthday is going to be a blast!.

Yesun quickly got on her feet. She better start preparing. It was still past 3. But she had so much to do. She was celebrating her birthday with two people that were like jackpots to her.

Real jackpots!.

She glanced at her roommates. They were fast asleep. "Jian, Mieun, those darn politicians could never make me this happy", she twirled around in the small room, hopping over to her bathroom after her twirl.

Daya carefully unwrapped the presents the girls got for her. They left a long while ago and now that she was alone, with her roommate, in their own space, she opened up the presents.

Yeji got her the newest brand of Maryjanes flat shoes in a solid black colour. "She called this a small token?", Daya whispered, tracing her fingers over the leather shoes and Nari snorted.

"They are probably small to her, but how did she get your size?", Nari curiously asked. "Is it even your size?"

Daya answered her question by slipping her feet into the shoes.

"She is a genius", Nari said and Daya laughed, opening Chaeryeong's present next. A glittering jewellery box. It was really pretty that both girls couldn't help but agree that it must have cost a lot.

"About what Chaeryeong said..", Nari started, looking away from the box and to the girl, "Did it offend you?"

Daya shook her head. "She didn't have a bad connotation to it when she said it. Her reaction was so genuine. She meant it in a good way. We are the ones who took it the wrong way"

"You are so understanding. I wanted to say the same and apologise on her behalf if she obliviously offended you"

Daya simpered, picking up Ari's present. "Why will you apologise on her behalf?. She would have done so if she thought she said something wrong. Chaery is just like that"

"Right", Nari smiled, holding her pillow closer. She chuckled when Ari's present turned out to be a boxed jewellery of 2 matching sets. "Did they plan it together?"

"Prolly?", Daya let out a short airy laugh. Chaeryeong bought the jewellery box and Ari bought the jewelleries for the box. "You can tell they are best friends just by their choice of gifts. They go in pairs"

"And they are total opposites. They attract anyway"

"Can you stop quoting physics?", Daya rolled her eyes and went to take Lia's gift but her phone came on with a text. She stretched her hand forward, and moved the phone with the tip of her fingers until it was within reach.
