"First things first", Jisung said, once he was out of his room. "How did you get my number, Daya?", he asked, walking down the corridor casually.
Another exasperated sigh. "From Nari. Can we just meet for a sec?"
He still found it absurd that she was asking to see him not Seungmin. "Right now?", he asked, glancing down the corridor and at his room.
"Yeah. Right now"
"Alright. Where?", his feet padded down the stairs. He didn't even tell his friends where he was going.
"Somewhere, outside the hostels"
Jisung wanted to ask if she was okay being out in the public with him that openly but he couldn't 'cause the line disconnected. The girl was making him be on his toes and he didn't appreciate that. He hated that feeling. Swearing quietly, he ran down the stairs.

Daya walked out of the hostels gates, the brown paper bag and her phone, in her hand. The road was lonely and free of students and she was immensely grateful. It was late evening between 6 and 6:30pm but the sky was still clear. She just wanted to return the bag and leave immediately. Daya knew she was bagging problems for herself. Calling Jisung out wouldn't look really good on her and will stir up her peaceful life, so she was to return this, and leave with immediate effect. She found Jisung so easily, dressed in casual clothes of shorts and an ash tee, with his hands inside his pockets. Ironically, he chose the spot she always stood with Seungmin. How he knew that spot was mysterious to her. The place was near the boys hostel but slightly far from the girls.
"Hey", Daya greeted when she got there. She stood by the roadside since she didn't want to be under the trees that served as shades or near him to avoid misunderstandings.
Jisung dragged his eyes to her. "Hey", he greeted back, getting his hands out of his pockets. She was quite different from the girl he saw at the Hyundai event, "Why the sudden demand to see me?", he asked, getting straight to the point.
Daya liked how he wasn't beating around the bush with her because she wanted to get this done for. She stretched her hand out and Jisung dropped his eyes to the paper bag. He wondered if that was a gift for him or a meal from, preferably, Macdonalds. "What's this?"
Daya pressed the bag to his body. On his chest, holding it there. "Why will you give us money, man?"
"Man?", Jisung asked with arched brows.
"Sunbae", Daya corrected, stepping back as he took a peek into the bag. Jisung looked back at her after seeing the wads of cash. "It's the money you left in the room you spent the night in. Why will you leave us money?"
Jisung let out a little breath. "You called me out for this?", he raised the bag up a little.
Daya couldn't believe this guy. Well. He was really rude to her on the bus, that just had to be his personality. "It isn't worth calling you out?", she asked back, staring directly into his eyes. She pointed at herself. "Well, it is for me. We don't need your money, Jisung. We didn't let you stay over to pay for the services. We are not a guesthouse. It was just an act of kindness"
Jisung nodded. "I appreciate the act of kindness"
"So did my grandma appreciate your gesture", Daya informed and Jisung almost felt his lips quirk at the mention of Seolran. "I will take my leave now and thank you for coming out", she bowed to him, turning around. She faltered in place at the group of girls, staring at her with different emotions on their faces as they walked down the roads, they were probably stepping out since they came from the hostel's direction.
