The doorbell rang and Damin told her mother to get the door since her hands were full with serving the king in their midst. Seolran walked to the foyer as slow as her granddaughter that she couldn't help but snicker.
Maybe I got that trait from her.
Seolran pulled the door open and her youngest granddaughter passed past her quickly with a little greeting, heading for the stairs, her kitty socks skidded to a stop as she did a double take at her sister. "I was out working for nine hours straight and you get served a feast first?"
Seolran shut the door. Drama was about to go down but there was a visitor and she doubt the girl noticed him, only blinded by the meal her sister was having.
Jisung stared at the girl dressed in a blue jacket and jeans with her brown curly hair in a low ponytail and strands sticking out at some parts.
Yeah. She definitely had a rough shift of 9 hours.
"Why are you the only one getting the good food?. Just because you are in college doesn't mean mom and grandma should prepare feasts for you whenever you come home!. I was working!. I have been working! But you don't ever see me getting an octopus for a meal???!!!!!!", the girl shouted but Daya didn't respond to her tantrums, still eating as calmly as she could.
Their mother hissed through her teeth. "Dayeon!", she snapped, making the girl turn her glare to her. "What?. What?. What?", she asked.
"Behave infront of the visitor", Seolran scolded, walking up to them.
Dayeon scanned around for a visitor. Her eyes laid on the most beautiful boy she had ever seen, staring at her with wide eyes with a spoon in his hand. "Who is he?"
"Daya's sunbae-nim", Seolran hit her back, making her stumble forward with an ah!. "How many times do I have to tell you to be nice to your sister?!", she hit her again and Jisung was slowly grimacing at the harsh slaps to the girl's back. "You disrespectful clown"
Damin frowned at her daughter. She has always been like that. So quick to anger that she fails to think rationally. She understands that any other person would be mad at the treatment her sister recieves but it was only on the first day. After that Daya also works for more than nine hours straight even. "When you enter college, you can have all the meals you want when you come home. I will cook everything for you on your days of vacation but until then be nice to your sister on the days she gets back home"
Dayeon rolled her eyes, not apologising to her sister, she walked up the stairs, stomping on the raisers loudly.
Wow.
He dropped his spoon, making the three females glance at him. "I have eaten to my fill. It's really spicy. Thanks"
"It's not because of the attitude she displayed _", Jisung cut Seolran off with a shake of his head. "Mmh-mmh. It's fine. I am really full"
Damin nodded, dropping the clams, seeing no reason to keep picking them again. Her daughter could do that herself.
"You two didn't have any", oh he finally noticed. He stared at them curiously. "You are not hungry?"
"We will eat whatever that's left", Damin replied, pulling off the nylon. Jisung said nothing even though he was dying to say something. "Dayeon-ah!!. Come downstairs for dinner!!!". Wether she heard her or not, that was her business. She had called her to come eat and that was all that mattered. Damin got up. She wanted to refill the bowls with rice for herself, her mother and youngest daughter. "Daya you can go upstairs and rest when you are done. I will clean up after you", Daya nodded and she walked away with the empty bowls.
