Chapter Six

Arielle's POV

I peeked my eyes open as it was a brand new day. I wasn't sure why but I felt so happy and excited today. Perhaps because the blood or the so called, period has stopped since yesterday?

I sat up and jumped off the bed as I began to stretch my body.

After washing up, I skipped my way towards the kitchen as I joined my parents for breakfast. Now I can eat as much as I want without losing my appetite.

The moment I had reached the kitchen, my eyes landed on Teagan who was hugging Tristan. At the sight of that, I felt my heart was as though shattered into a million of pieces.

It hurts. And I don't know why.

I looked away and made my way to my parents who had started to eat. I took a plate and began to pile my plate with a chicken drumstick, a fish stick, a cheese taco, a strawberry pudding and smash potato.

I was about to dig in when my dad's eyes literally popped out of his sockets. "What are you doing?" He whispered. I felt my eyebrows furrowed upon his question. "Eating?" It came out more like a question as I grabbed a chicken drumstick and began chewing on it.

When I was done eating the whole pile of food, I cleaned my mouth with a napkin and stalked off the kitchen wordlessly. To say I was affected by the scene just now was an understatement.

Of course, Teagan was much prettier than me, that's why he let her hug him. I pouted instantly at the thought. What was wrong with me? I shouldn't let this affect me at all.

"Hey, big-eater." A voice hollered from behind as I continued making my way to my room. A sudden gush of wind flew past me as a little girl who was younger than me blocked the path between me and my room.

Her eyes were bulging from her sockets as her blonde hair was stuck to her dress like she had just ran a marathon.

"Big-eater, why didn't you answer me?" A slight pout was formed on her lips as she folded her arms. Big-eater? Was she referring to me?

"You were calling me?"

"Of course, I am. You ate a whole pile of food that made all of us stare at you with our mouths wide open." She said, showing me how she reacted just now.

Feeling amused, I laughed as I curled my arms around my stomach. Oh god, this girl was so hilarious. She stared at me, blinking her eyes before she started laughing, probably affected by my laughing virus.

"Oh god, you guys looked like fishes with open mouth. I should have watched all of their reactions." I said, giggling as I began to roll on the floor.

I felt myself being rolled into my room as she laughed at me. "Hey, how did you have the strength to push me into my room?" I asked, slowly standing up as I wiped away the imaginary dusts.

"That's because I am strong." She said, showing me her arm muscles. When in actual, they were just fats. "Yeah right, very funny." I rolled my eyes at her lame joke.

"What's your name?" She asked, laying down on my bed.

I followed suit and faced the ceiling. "Arielle. What's yours?"

"The Alpha's youngest daughter, Tracy."

"Then Teagan must be your older sister."

"Yeah, she is always acting like a b*tch to me." She rolled her eyes. I nodded, bringing up my palm as I hi-fived her. I quickly jolted up as I shifted to face her.

"Since Teagan is our greatest enemy, let's form an alliance instead. We will help each other out when she bully either one of us, deal?" I said, bringing up my pinky finger.

She hooked my pink fingers with her tiny ones as she grinned at me. "Deal."

"Shall we go and play now? What games do you want to play?" She asked, looking at me with a pair of irresistible puppy eyes. I fiddled with my chin as I thought of a game.

"How about tag?" I said, starting to countdown from ten. She quickly raced out of the room as I continued to count until I reached one.

I got up from my bed and began to dash out of my room. Running down the hallways, all I could hear was giggles from her as I spotted her running down the stairs.

"You can't run away from me, Tracy." I said, following suit as well. She squealed as she ran around the living room. I began to shift quickly from one couch to the next as she did the same.

When I saw an opening, I ran forward while she squealed as she ran towards the direction of the kitchen. She ran past the adults who were eating while I did the same.

I could feel my fingertips touching her before I scooped her up as she struggled. "Put me down." She giggled. I put her down and began to tickle her while she laughed out loud in the middle of the kitchen.

"Stop, stop." She giggled again while I paused before I quickly got up. "Tag, you are now the catcher." I grinned, running out of the kitchen as I leapt past a couch.

It became a cat and mouse game for both of us as we continued until one of us got tired. We laid down on the couch, the both of us panting heavily as we had no more energy left.

"That was fun!" She yelled, giggling like a lovesick child after that. I nodded, agreeing with her words totally as I chuckled under my breath.

Teagan appeared in our line of sight as she had a hand on her left hip. "It's lunchtime, b*tches ." She said before she walked off with a flip of her hair.

I noticed Tracy's leg stuck out as it made Teagan trip and fall. I looked at her and nodded as we dashed past her and sat down right beside each other. We began to laugh out loud as we hi-fived each other.

"That was a good one, Tracy. You go, girl." I praised, turning to look at Teagan who was glaring at us as she sat down opposite Tracy.

Finally, I had gotten my revenge from last night's humiliation. With this alliance, Tracy and I were definitely going to make it big by getting back at Teagan for what she had done.
