Chapter Thirty-Six
Arielle's POV
"What do I do now, Fiona?" I asked, using the name I have been using in our past life. She smiled gently, her shoulders at ease as though we have gone back to the lives we had before I was betrayed by the 7th prince.
"Well, aren't you at least curious what happened to the people around you after you reincarnated?" She beamed at me, her hands from behind suddenly holding onto a cloak as she wrapped it around my naked body.
I walked next to her and sighed, "What happened to the 7th prince?"
"Because of his betrayal due to greed, he has been reincarnated into a poor man in his next life." That made me laugh. Indeed, Heaven has eyes and punished him for his sins.
Well, at least that made me feel lighter.
"But Fiona, did you reincarnate as well?" I asked, curious why she didn't change at all even from her previous life. She smiled, "Before I moved on to the next life, the judges assigned me this secret mission to make you remember the past and continue the test. I was not given the drink to forget about my past, instead I brought all the memories to my next life. And here I am, finally finding the right opportunity to appear in front of you."
"Oh my gosh, you must have suffered a lot." I whispered out of guilt.
"It's alright, Beyonce. Please don't blame yourself. I don't mind doing this if that means helping you to redeem your freedom from the past. I want to see you living happily too."
I lurched forward and embraced her, thankful for everything she had done in the past. I can't thank her enough for carrying the past memories to the next life and carry out the secret mission just to save me.
"Thank you for everything, Fiona. I owe you too much." Tears rolled down my cheeks as my heart ached for my sworn sister. She was the sister Heaven forgot to gave me, so we vowed to be sisters for life.
"Don't say that, silly. We are sisters, remember?" She laughed, patting my head like how she used to when she comforted me. I smiled at the memory, missing the old us.
I pulled away and grinned. "So, why don't we have fun for just today?"
"You are still in heat, remember? You can't run off to the human world as you please." She reminded, shaking her head as she laughed out loud. I groaned in despair.
"Well, why don't we stay inside my house instead and spend the rest of the day together?"
My eyes lit up. "That's not a bad idea!"

I followed her deep into the forests, away from the building which caged all the females going into heat. I already have enough of that place, so I might as well go out and explore the forests.
She led me deeper and deeper until we reached an empty patch of land. "Where are we?" I asked, looking around the pitch darkness, my senses suddenly alert.
"Give me a minute." She said, waving her hands in the air as a portal opened in thin air. She entered the portal and held onto my hands, squeezing it with reassurance as she led me inside.
Suddenly, we were greeted with sunlight as we stood outside a small cottage with fences surrounding it. Honeysuckles grew all over the fences, making it really homey.
"Is this your house?" I beamed, walking past her as I entered through the fences. I stepped past the stone path and entered the house in awe.
The inside of the house, however, shocked me. It was the exact same living room as I saw in 7th prince's residence. Suddenly, memories rushed back as I tried to breathe normally.
It was suffocating, all those memories of us in his residence as he treated me wholeheartedly. Until, he betrayed my feelings and married Princess Arabelle who could give him wealth, fame and the next-in-line position of becoming the King of Avalon.
I can never give him everything he wanted, only love and the desire for him to come back to me. I missed everything about his old self, his selfless heart, his kindheartedness.
And all of that were eaten up by his greed. I was too blinded not to notice his desires.
I felt my knees gave in as I knelt on the floor, tears rolling down my cheeks. "Beyonce, are you okay?" Fiona rushed to my aid as she carried me towards one of the bedrooms.
I felt my world spinning as I couldn't take it anymore. And I felt myself collapsed as I embraced the darkness.
xxxx
A sudden surge of energy went past me as I felt Fiona's powers waking me up. My body felt weak as though my powers had been used up.
I blinked, opening my eyes as I spot Fiona's hand resting on my chest, healing me with her powers. Over the years of finding the chance to appear in front of me, she must have been practicing her healing powers as well.
It has gotten stronger.
"Fiona." I croaked out, feeling thirsty. She stopped abruptly and sat me up, pushing my hair behind my ears. "Are you alright now, Beyonce?" She asked in concern, lifting her hand to feel my forehead for any signs of fever.
Once a person who possesses magical powers has used up her powers, she will feel weak which will invite sickness. I know my body the best, I have only used up 80% of my powers when I had regained those memories.
Remembering something from the past requires my soul to travel back to the past, which uses up a lot of my powers and energy. Thankfully, Fiona was here to heal me so I was able to heal fast with the aid of my werewolf blood.
"I'm alright, just feeling thirsty." Immediately, she poured water from the jug of water next to me and fed me. Cooling water gushed down my throat as I sighed in relief.
"Thank you, Fiona. I feel much better now."
"Silly girl, why did you used up your powers to travel back to the past?"
"I can't help it, the living room looked exactly the same like his residence. And suddenly, I felt myself going back to the past. Unconsciously, I used up a lot of my powers and found myself in this state."
She sighed, shaking her head. "You have a lot to learn, Beyonce."
"You should start adjusting to call me Arielle. It's my name in this life." I laughed weakly, missing the name I have been using for the past eighteen years.
She let my name roll out of her tongue. "Arielle."
A/N _ Okay, things escalated. But, I hope you guys will enjoy this twist of our dear Arielle finding back her past life memories and her powers.
