Jungwon let out a sigh before following me into the kitchen-like room, and closed the door behind himself as I began looking around for food.

"Are you hungry too?" I questioned him and he nodded before locking the door behind him, "what do you want to eat?"

"Is there even any food in here?" Jungwon frowned as he looked around, "didn't you say you could smell someone making food in here? It's completely clean... and untouched."

"Eh... I just want food," I shrugged and began opening cupboards and drawers in hopes of finding any food.

"You don't find this one bit suspicious?" Jungwon questioned in disbelief, making me look over my shoulder and back at him before slowly shaking my head, "seriously?"

"You shouldn't be the one talking about suspicious stuff," I warned him, making him let out a small huff before walking over and closing the cupboard I was trying to open, "hey..."

"I don't think this is safe Ji," Jungwon calmly stated.

"We're gonna starve," I pointed out to him.

"So be it."

"Jungwon... no."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"I don't care what you're saying. I don't feel safe with us eating anything in this castle," Jungwon shook his head at me.

"At least just a glass of water," I urged and he immediately shook his head, "so... without food we would've been able to go for a few weeks, but without water you really think we can find the solution within three days?"

"If that's what it takes," Jungwon nodded at me, "I'd rather we die of starvation and dehydration, than let some cursed food kill you."

"If I faint before the day is over, it's your fault," I pointed out, making him immediately nod at me.

"I take full responsibility... and you can curse and hate me as much as you want as long as you know I'm doing this to protect you, okay?" he questioned, making me sigh before just nodding at him and letting my arm fall down by my side once again, "Ji?" Jungwon called out, making me hum as I looked up at him, "what is it?"

"Nothing... I was just hungry," I excused myself and turned to walk back to the door.

I didn't get far before Jungwon had grabbed my wrist and pulled me back to him. Lifting me up and placing me on the table in the room, immediately placing his hands on each side of my legs as he leaned on the table and stared straight at my eyes.

"What?" I muttered in confusion.

"Something is really wrong," he stated calmly, "tell me what it is... I'm the only one here you can speak to at the moment and you need to get something out."

"There's nothing," I shook my head, unable to pull my eyes away from his. It was almost like they were enchanting me to continue to stare into them. His pretty and enchanting eyes.

"You're lying," he stated and tapped the side of my right thigh, "tell me... please."

"I just..." I sighed and grabbed onto my elbows before glancing back towards the locked door behind me, "I know this is reality... but I don't get it... I don't get this situation... I mean... sure... you've explained everything to me and I've certainly felt the scare to know this is real life... but I don't get it."

"What about it don't you get?" Jungwon frowned.

"Everything!" I exclaimed at him, "why in the world would a vampire choose you? Why did you exactly choose me? Because with the timing you told me... it sounds an awful lot like you've just used me over the past few months... and I just don't get it."

"I don't know why he chose me," Jungwon muttered before looking back at me, "but I did not use you. Remember I told you how I was bitten? That was after we began flirting and all that type of stuff. I had genuine feelings for you at the time I got bitten. I did not use you. Please don't think I did... you have no idea how guilty I feel about this."

"But why me? Why not... Heeseung?" I questioned him in confusion.

Jungwon stared at me for a good while, once in a while opening his mouth as if he wanted to try and say something. Eventually he sighed and momentarily looked away before looking back at me.

"You were seven girls," he said, hesitantly nodding at him, "Heeseung hyung's girlfriend was one of the seven girls."

"Why would someone choose her?" I frowned at him, making him just continue to stare at me, "oh..."

"You get it now?" he questioned, making me hesitantly nod.

"So... Heeseung is also here, with his girlfriend, to do the reversal thingy?" I questioned.

"That's exactly what I'm saying," Jungwon nodded, "if he wasn't in the same situation as me, I would be here with him, not you. I couldn't... however it may look now... I could never dare to put you in a situation like this... but... I didn't have any other choice."

"Okay..." I muttered as I simply nodded at him, "okay..."

"Okay... what?" Jungwon frowned at me, making me shrug.

"Okay... if- if there wasn't any other choice then... okay," I nodded at him.

"Are you sure?" he slowly questioned and I just nodded at him.

"I'll just convince myself it was a really lively dream and I don't want you to tell me otherwise when we get out of here," I warned him, making him hum before just nodding, "promise?" I questioned and held up my pinky.

He stared at it for a while before a small smile spread on his lips and he linked his pinky with mine.

"I promise," he assured and quickly placed a kiss on the back of my hand, making my cheeks immediately flame up, "you're cute when you get flustered," he commented as he let go of my pinky.

"Shut up," I complained and hit his shoulder, "as if you aren't the same."

"When have I ever gotten all red in the face from you?" he arched a brow in amusement.

"Oh well... I don't know, maybe... each time I've given you a hug or told you that you look cute or handsome," I casually shrugged.

"Hey..." he complained as I let out a small laugh, "I can't even say anything in defense..."

"Exactly, you can't deny it!" I happily told him, making him sigh.

"I'm taking you on a proper, non-dangerous, date when we get out of here," Jungwon assured, making me just hum at him, "that's alright with you?"

"I don't see why it wouldn't be," I shrugged in reply.

"Where would you want to go?" he eagerly asked.

"Honestly? Anywhere but near a giant creepy castle," I admitted making him let out a small laugh.

"Shouldn't be too hard then," he agreed with a small nod, "how abou-"

Jungwon was immediately cut off by someone or something trying to open the door. I immediately snapped my head around to look at the door with widened eyes.

Meanwhile Jungwon quickly grabbed onto my shoulders and pulled me down from the table before beginning to push me backwards. Before I knew it I had been pushed through another door in the room.

"Please stay silent and trust me on this one," Jungwon whispered, making me hesitantly nod as I could hear the other door open and Jungwon slammed the door in front of me close.
