I quietly laid on my bed as Jungwon sat beside me with the first aid kit in his lap. He had already taken care of my shoulder, which now was wrapped in a proper clean bandage. The big focus for him right now was the two holes on my neck.
"I'm just gonna clean them and put a band-aid on it," Jungwon excused, making me reach over to him, "what?"
"Please, they hurt just now," I whispered, making Jungwon's gaze immediately soften as he looked at me before nodding and grabbing my hand in his.
"Tell me if I have to stop," he spoke, making me just nod at him as I turned my face away from him once again.
I sucked in a deep breath as I felt the cold alcohol wipe come in contact with my skin. I closed my eyes tightly as I felt the first soft sweep over the marks in my neck. I desperately tried to bite the cry of pain back into my throat, making it simply escape as a small whimper as I squeezed tightly onto Jungwon's hand.
"I know, I know," he softly assured and rubbed his thumb over the back of my hand as he continued to sit and go over the marks in my neck with the alcohol wipe, "it's gonna be fine... I promise," he muttered before I felt a warmer sensation on the side of my neck as he placed a band aid over the two holes, "there... all done," he assured and pressed a kiss to my cheek, "we should get some food and water now... don't you think?"
"I'll go find some," I assured him and pushed myself up from the bed, making Jungwon immediately grab onto my shoulder with a stern look on his face.
"I'll go find some," he said and I shook my head at him.
"You don't know where it is," I excused and threw my legs over the side of the bed.
Jungwon let out a small sigh before helping me up from the bed and walking behind me as I walked out of the room. I could feel him have a hand on my waist as the other rested on my arm.
I carefully waddled down through the house and into the kitchen, as Jungwon continued to hold onto me. I slowly walked to the fridge and immediately spotted the box with leftovers from one of the other days.
"Which one?" Jungwon questioned as he had realized I just stood still and stared into the fridge.
"White box, blue lid," I whispered, making him hum and reach up to grab the box, "two pairs of chopsticks."
"Of course," he hummed once again before grabbing two pairs from the holder on the kitchen counter, "let's get back to your room again."
Jungwon wrapped his free arm around my waist and assisted me down to my room again. He helped prop a pillow up against the wall and made me sit down in my bed against it.
"I'll go grab two glasses of water," Jungwon excused and placed the box down on my bed with the chopsticks before quickly running off.
I carefully opened the box with leftovers before Jungwon carefully came into my room again with two big glasses of water.
He happily smiled as he placed one glass on my nightstand and made me drink some of the other glass. Generally Jungwon helped me with drinking water and eating once in a while. Even though I didn't need help, he still insisted on helping me.
It was quite amusing how I barely was allowed to eat anything myself. It even was so that if I picked something up with my chopsticks myself, he immediately used his chopsticks to help me raise it to my mouth.
"Wonie?" I let out a small laugh after having regained some more energy.
"Hm?" he hummed and looked up from the piece of meat he was helping lift to my mouth.
"I can lift it myself," I pointed out.
"Oh-" his ears immediately turned a bright red as he looked down at the food and let go of the piece of meat I then placed in my mouth myself.
"Cute," I muttered making him just hum before he finally took some food for himself, "did you get more energized after the reversal?"
"I think it surely did something about being exhausted and hungry," he admitted, making me softly smile at him.
"You know..." I slowly trailed off making him look up at me, "I got two things from this."
"You did?" he questioned and I slowly nodded, "what?"
"Extremely traumatized, and an extremely traumatized boyfriend," I started making him let out a small snort.
"That's true," he nodded at me, "but you know what?"
"What?" I questioned him.
"For the next week or so I'll excuse why I'm staying overnight once and once again," he started making me slowly nod.
"I'd like that," I nodded in agreement.
"So when we finish eating we'll sleep, and then in the morning we'll finally have a shower each," he stated and I nodded once more.
Jungwon and I ended up emptying the box with leftovers. We were both extremely stuffed and bloated once done, but so many days with so little food, barely any, had just made us eat like there was no tomorrow.
"Come here," Jungwon cooed out after me as he got under my covers. Meanwhile I stood in silence and just placed the food box over on my desk.
As I looked at Jungwon I let out a small laugh at how he laid with his arms wide open and just pouting towards me. It seemed so odd. It was almost like we just had a sleepover after a long day. And not us having just survived a life and death situation.
I smiled as I nodded and laid down beside Jungwon. He immediately threw my duvet over both of us before he pulled me into his embrace, pressing a kiss to my forehead.
"I love you, and I'll forever be in debt to you. Thank you," he softly spoke, making me give him a small squeeze, "nothing is ever gonna tear us apart. I'm sure of it."
I let out a small hum before I felt my eyes burning. I immediately grabbed a fistful of his shirt in my hands.
"You're about to cry, aren't you?" Jungwon croaked out, making me just nod in return, "me too."
Jungwon quickly turned so he laid facing me. We both immediately embraced each other tightly, our face pressed into the other's shoulder as we both began crying. Tears were streaming down our cheeks, staining the other's shirt, our whimpers came out in between our sobs that were perfectly synced and came out at the same time.
In his tight embrace Jungwon reached up and dug a hand into the hair on the back of my head, holding my head in place as we both continued to cry. Meanwhile my hands balled up into small fists on his back, having his shirt in my fists as I tightly held onto him.
I was never letting go of him. He was my fate, and I wasn't letting go.
I'm not gonna let go of my fate.
