Jungwon continued to just stare at me as I was struggling for myself and the man just watched with amusement written all over his face. To be honest, it actually made me a bit pissed that Jungwon just stood staring.

"Help, please?" I snapped at Jungwon who quickly shook his head and reached over to grab onto one of my wrists, whilst his other fist went to the face of whoever was holding onto me, "thanks," I muttered as Jungwon pulled me back against him, quickly pushing me over behind him, as if he was my shield.

"Huh... well this didn't go like I wanted it to," the man commented as I glanced between him and the other man, who apparently had been holding onto me, "I see this as fairplay and will let you pass now. But next time I find you, I don't care if you're by each other or not, she'll be going."

"What?" I muttered making Jungwon just move me more behind him.

"I suggest you take this as a warning," the man started making me just frown before he snapped his fingers at the other man and walked out the door once again, slamming it behind them.

"Why would they just leave us?" I questioned in disbelief making Jungwon slowly turn back around to me, "they could've easily... just killed me."

"Are you alright?" Jungwon immediately questioned as he grabbed my face in his hands and began inspecting me.

"Jungwon... why didn't they kill me?" I questioned once again making Jungwon look back up at my eyes and hesitated before answering.

"I don't know..." he admitted looking just as lost as I felt, "I thought this was it too."

"I want to go home," I muttered, making him just nod at me.

"Me too."

The both of us stayed silent for a while as we just stood and looked at each other. Eventually Jungwon broke the silence with a small sigh.

"Are you hurt?" he spoke again before I just shook my head at him, "you have red marks on your neck. Looks like a hand."

"I'm fine," I stated and waved his hands away from my face before taking a step back and crossing my arms over my chest, "let's just... go and figure out how we get this thing reversed as fast as possible... I don't want you to turn into one of those evil things."

"They're only evil because they're old and bitter," Jungwon waved it off with a small laugh making me just hum and nod at him, "I'm not evil... remember."

"Eh... could be discussed," I commented, making him roll his eyes before I just sighed and grabbed onto my elbows, "anyways, the faster we figure it out the faster I can go home," I pointed out to him.

"Okay... we'll rush it up," Jungwon nodded in agreement.

"Please... I don't want to be here anymore," I nodded, making him look down at me before pulling out a chair by the table and pushing me down into it, before sitting down in the chair beside me.

"We're not going anywhere before you're a bit more... back to yourself," he shook his head.

"I haven't been myself since entering this fucking place!" I exclaimed at him, making him close his eyes as he just let out a sigh at me, "how in the bloody hell do you expect me to just take this normally?"

"I meant we're not going anywhere before you seem to be over what just happened," he corrected himself before opening his eyes again.

"I swear to god, if it wasn't because I knew I was somewhat important to you getting back to normal, I had run off ages ago to get myself killed," I complained at him, making him immediately grab onto my chin so that I looked at him.

"Don't you dare speak like that," he started making me slowly frown at him, "don't you dare talk about getting yourself killed in any way. You got that?"

"Wh-" he immediately cut me off once again.

"I mean it. I don't want to imagine you gone," he sternly continued, "I can't imagine it, so don't you dare talk about it as if it's nothing."

"Okay..." I muttered and moved my head out from his grip making him just sigh at me.

"I'm seriously worried about you Ji, okay?" he questioned and I just nodded and looked towards the windows in the room.

"Where do you suppose they're hiding?" I questioned making him look towards the windows, "if they're always looking over us."

"Don't think about it," he shook his head and turned my head away from the windows, "if you think about us being watched every second you'll go insane."

"I think I already am though... I'm in a castle filled with vampires!" I reminded him, making him smile at me as he just nodded.

"I know it sounds insane," he assured, "we've both gone absolute bonkers."

I stared at him for a few seconds before letting out a small laugh as well, just leaning forward and leaning my forehead on his shoulder as I continued to let out small laughs.

"Okay... now I'm actually beginning to think you're off the hook," Jungwon admitted and patted my back softly.

"Shut up, I'm coping," I laughed at him, making him let out a small smile at me, "just let me laugh it off and I'll be ready to continue."

"You're insane Ji, absolutely gone," Jungwon commented, making me just hum between my small laughs.

Jungwon stayed silent as he let me sit like some nutty person and just laughed into his shoulder. Once I had lifted my head from his shoulder he had just stared at me as if he was unsure of whether I actually was insane or if it was completely normal.

"Okay... I'm ready to go," I nodded at him, making him simply raise his eyebrows at me.

"I don't know if I feel safe walking through this castle with you," he admitted with a small laugh.

"See? Now you're laughing as well," I immediately pointed to him, making him clasp a hand over his mouth, "just laugh the fear away... deal?"

"We're gonna look crazy," Jungwon reminded me and I just shrugged.

"Eh... but we won't be scared," I shrugged, "if we look at it like some childish game... maybe I won't nearly be shitting my pants every time we turn down a corridor."

"Or maybe you should just think about how I'm gonna protect you and not let anyone touch you," he offered, making me hum.

"And how did that just go for you?" I questioned making him go silent, "exactly."

"From now on I'm not letting you go out of my sight," he assured and softly reached over and grabbed my hand, "we're both getting out from here... fully alive."

"If you insist..." I hummed before looking towards the door out of the kitchen, "so... moving on before I eat anything in here?"

"Yeah... sounds good," Jungwon nodded and pulled me up from my chair and towards the door that led out of the kitchen.
