"You're absolutely brilliant," Jungwon repeated once more as I let out a small laugh and pulled him after me into the library that was hiding behind the big double doors.
I could only smile widely at the sudden energy boost I had gotten from seeing the big library in front of us.
From top to bottom there was stuffed to the brim with bookshelves, filled with old books, long ladders rolling along the top of them making it available for you to reach up to the books all the way in the top.
In the far right of the library another set of stairs let up to a middle floor that also was filled with rows of bookshelves once again. So many bookshelves. So many books. Too many books.
There was no doubt that the answer we were searching for was hidden somewhere in here, and this only made my grin grow even wider. The thought of being able to get out of here before tomorrow was simply a miracle to me.
"I think you've just saved me Ji..." Jungwon trailed off, looking at the bookshelves in awe, making me glance at him with a knowing look, "you're a miracle maker."
"How about we let the praise wait before we're actually out of here?" I questioned in amusement, "you can praise me all you want for how brilliant I am, and what a genius I turned out to be, once we're out of here."
"Ah... I can't wait to get out of here," Jungwon sighed and I just nodded in agreement.
"You know what I'm really excited for?" I questioned him, making him glance down at me.
"If you say school I swear to god I'll break up with you at this exact moment," he warned, making me let out a small laugh before simply shaking my head.
"I'm excited to sleep in my bed, get a bath... have a proper meal," I listed before frowning at myself, "I just made myself extremely hungry... how stupid can you be?"
"Yeah... I think I take it back, what I said about you being a genius," he nodded at me, making me just send him a small glare.
Looking back at the library in front of us I let out a small sigh. There were too many bookshelves, there wasn't a chance we would ever be able to find the right book just like that. It would at least take a whole day to get through half of these shelves.
"So where do we start?" Jungwon spoke up, putting sound to my exact thoughts.
"From the end...?" I questioned and looked at him.
He had abruptly turned around and closed the doors behind us and locked them, as he usually did as a safety thing. Afterwards he turned to me with a small determined nod.
"Yeah well... what end?" he let out a small laugh and walked back to me.
I shrugged as I just began walking towards the nearest bookshelf, Jungwon quietly trailing behind me like he was some small puppy.
"Ji... wait for me," a small whine echoed behind me.
I let out a small laugh and stuck my hand out behind me, soon feeling a warm hand slip into mine as I wandered down the aisle of the first bookshelf. I kept glancing up and down the bookshelf before feeling a hand land itself on my waist.
"What?" I muttered in confusion as I turned back around to look at Jungwon, who just stood with widened eyes at me, "what?"
"When did you remove the white shirt around your shoulder?" he questioned and I looked to my left shoulder.
"Before falling asleep... why?" I questioned making him frown.
"I don't remember you doing that," he commented and I just shrugged.
I turned back around to the bookshelf for a split second before realization hit me. It seemed my realization had hit me just in time to hear a heavy sigh being let out by Jungwon.
"It's the blood seizures... right?" I questioned and he let out a shaky laugh, glancing from the floor and up at me.
"Would it be a bad time to say yes?" he muttered, "but I'm trying to suppress it... I really am trying," he whispered the last sentence as he looked back down at the floor once again.
"Okay... uhm... uh..." I quickly looked around before I felt Jungwon grab tightly onto the wrist of my right hand, "hold on... I'll figure something out."
"Ji..." Jungwon murmured making me just nod.
"I know... I know," I assured as I eagerly looked around to find anything that could help me right now, softly patting his head to assure him it was alright.
In a second I had felt myself get pushed up against the bookshelf behind me, sending a pain up through my left shoulder. However, I didn't have long to react to the pain in my shoulder, before I had seen Jungwon's eyes go red momentarily as he had trapped me between his arms up against the bookshelf.
Realizing what was happening I quickly tried to push him away, which only ended in the both of us tumbling down on the floor, with Jungwon sitting on top of me, whilst I desperately held him back by his shoulders.
It was scary suddenly seeing him behave like this. All violent and animal-like as he tried to get down close to me. As much as I loved him, it was truly scary. He was not the Jungwon I knew, this wasn't Jungwon. This was some monster.
Time and time again Jungwon ripped my hands away from his shoulders, making him able to get just a bit closer to me. Each time he did it he would just be able to inch closer and closer down towards my face. So close that by the end he had gotten too close for me to continue to fight him off.
As his eyes began glowing a sharp red I quickly covered my neck with my hands and closed my eyes tightly, anticipating my hands getting ripped away any second. I was so scared and I knew there was nothing I could do but wait right now.
"Please Jungwon.... Jungwon please," I whimpered, begging for him to go back to his usual self, "please... Jungwon."
I could almost have cried at that exact moment. I was so scared. I was so scared and frightened for my life. And...
For once in my whole life I was scared of Jungwon.
