I went back to Haewon's place since it's best for me to not go back to my place until that bastard gets caught. I still feel shaken about this whole incident. I sat down on her sofa as she gave me a glass of water. I thanked her, taking the glass from her. My hands are still trembling, and they're already very cold. I'm having a little trouble breathing, too. I guess I'm having hyperventilation. When Haewon saw my state, she hurriedly came and squatted in front of me, asking, "Do-hee, are you okay? Are you having trouble breathing?"
"Meds... my... meds." I was having a lot of trouble speaking.
"M-meds? Wait, let me get them for you." She ran into her room and came back with some medications that I always take whenever my anxiety level increases. Luckily, Haewon always keeps extra medications for emergencies. After I swallowed them, I tried to breathe slowly. Haewon then handed me a paper bag so that I could use it for my breathing. After a few minutes, I was able to breathe normally again. "How are you feeling? Are you okay now?" I nodded at her question. She looked very worried.
"Do-hee, how... how did he enter your place?" she asked, sitting beside me.
"I was so dumb for letting the stalker inside my house! I actually thought he was an employee from the surveillance company because I remembered that you told me one of them was supposed to come to my house today. I made a big mistake by letting him in when I should have known that something wasn't right. I feel so stupid for believing him and letting him inside my house. I should've confirmed whether he was actually an employee or not by calling you before letting him inside." I was having a lot of mixed emotions of betrayal, fear, anger, and frustration. I felt betrayed because I trusted the stalker to be an employee instead of someone with ulterior motives, scared because I didn't know what the stalker's intentions were when he was inside my house, and angry and frustrated with myself for not recognizing the warning signs. I felt like I wasn't in control of the situation and that I could be in danger. "I'm more speechless over the fact that he even knew that someone might come to my place today. Why did he want to come inside when I was there instead of when I wasn't?" I expressed my confusion.
"I know, right! Unless someone tipped him off, he wasn't supposed to know that! Gosh, he crossed all the limits now!" Haewon fumed, thinking about it. After calming herself down, she spoke, "Don't you worry now, Do-hee. Our team has already reported it to the police, and now let's just wait until he gets caught." Hearing that made me feel a little relieved. Though I still wonder why he wanted to enter my house when I was there. I mean, isn't that a little risky? Unless he left something. Ugh. I don't want to think about it anymore. I shook my head a little, letting myself not think about it anymore. After both of us ate our dinner, we went to our respective rooms to sleep. Later at midnight, I woke up from a nightmare. I had to take my medications again to calm my nerves. Unable to handle it anymore, I finally broke down in silence, letting the fears consume me.

The next week,
I was doing another one of my photoshoots for a product commercial. I was feeling down a lot since Haewon and I went to the police station the previous day after they called us to inform us they had caught the stalker. Both of us thought that at last, the guy would be behind bars for a long time. Although, it's quite the opposite. The police informed us that since they didn't find any proof of him intruding into my place, stealing my undergarments, or harming me, they would only be able to put him behind bars for three months and make him pay fines along with prohibition warnings. They say that's the law. I scoffed, hearing them.
'What a ridiculous thing they're saying! Here I was, unable to sleep or eat or live properly, always being paranoid, and he only gets a three-month sentence?!'
