"Right." She willed her lips upward and ended up giving me what I knew was the smallest smile in the history of smiles. Before I could say anything, she changed the topic, saying, "Oh, by the way, I got a good idea about this jewelry piece. How about a theme that somehow resembles me? A jewelry theme that embodies my boldness and confidence. I would like it to include bold and daring designs. I want something that makes a statement and isn't afraid to push boundaries. Something that's powerful yet elegant and makes people look twice. I want it to be unique and edgy, with a hint of rebellion to it. A reminder of the strength and independence that defines me."

"That actually sounds like a pretty good theme to base the jewelry design on. It's bold, daring, and unique, which would make it a statement piece that stands out from the rest. I can really see how the rebellious and edgy energy of the design could remind people of your character and how strong and independent you are. I think this is really going to make an impact. I like this idea." I explained, definitely liking the idea.

After that, we talked more for a while, finally being able to decide both the theme and the types of designs that we think might look great. We also decided to go on a fake date this Friday, the day that I mentally wish does not come.

It's Friday,

I'm waiting in front of Do-hee's apartment for her to come down. She looks pretty in that simple black top paired with washed-out jeans and a white hoodie. "Sorry, were you waiting for me for a long time?"

"Nope. You came just in time. Now let's go to the park." Saying so, I opened the door to the passenger seat for her. She muttered a thanks and sat in the car. After that, we both drove off to the park.

While we were halfway to our destination, she said, "Just so you know, Mingyu, you can still say whether you wanna go there or not. I wouldn't mind."

"Nope, I wanna go to the park. Relax, Do-hee. Everything's gonna be fine. It's just some rides, after all." Feeling a little reassured, she finally let go of the topic. "You know, even though we're going there for a fake date, don't mind it," I said. "Don't think that we need to video this whole experience, so we need to play it a little professional. Because while doing that, I don't want you to miss out on the real fun. Remember, no need to be actress Do Do-hee. Just be the real, ordinary Do-hee first." To that, she gave me a nod, smiling.

"Okay, my fake boyfriend. Your advice is noted." As we reached the park, we stood in front of the entrance gate, and I gawked at the whole place. This place is, I guess, full of scary rides, which includes throwing off people in mid-air. For a moment, I regretted saying yes to come here until Do-hee linked her hand with mine, giving it a little squeeze. "Hey, we can still turn back. You just say it." I know she gave me a look of understanding even though we both are wearing masks and can only see her eyes.

"No," I said firmly, trying to convince myself more than her. "Since we're already here, I guess it's better to enjoy the day." Saying so, I entered the park, still holding her hand. We started to vlog our activities, although I doubt it's of any use as we barely paid any attention to the camera.

We first went inside the arcade arena they had inside the park. We made a bet on who would win the super shot game. She lost, by the way. We had lots of fun trying all sorts of games inside the arcade. "I swear, Do-hee. This is the last coin. Let me win a damn plushie," I said as she pulled me by the arm when she realized that not being able to win a single plush toy from that claw machine game was pissing me off. After the arcade, we tried many more rides like the bumper cars, merry-go-round, and balloon and dart games. I finally won a plus-sized teddy bear for her. Last but not least, we were now here to get on the roller coaster, drop tower, pirate ship, and water coaster. To no one's surprise, I was scared out of my wits on all those rides while Do-hee screamed in delight. She was having a lot of fun seeing me try out all the rides in the amusement park. She was definitely comforting me by holding my hand and telling me that everything was going to be okay as I went through the rides. She was also having a lot of fun herself since she had always been a fan of these rides. I think at one point I fainted for a moment on the roller coaster. Eventually, we finished going to all the attractions in the amusement park and were both tired and winded. I was sitting down with my head between my knees, taking deep breaths as I still felt a bit dizzy from the rides. Do-hee was nearby, looking tired and slightly worried as she watched me.
