"What?!" Do-hee screamed in confusion and shock hearing Haewon's statement. My eyes widened in shock as Haewon dropped her bombshell. 

'Pregnant? Haewon? And with Wonwoo's child?' 

I was speechless, my mind struggling to process the news. I was just as shocked, my jaw hanging slightly open, speechless as well. Do-hee sat there in disbelief, while my mind is struggling to process what Haewon had just revealed. "You're...you're pregnant? With hyung's child?" I asked, my voice shaking slightly.

She nodded, a mix of excitement and nervousness in her eyes. Wonwoo, who was sitting beside her, smiled, his eyes filled with contentment. "Yes, we're expecting a child," Haewon confirmed, holding onto Wonwoo's hand tightly.

"H-how?" Do-hee asked shockingly. "You never told me anything about whatever that's going on between you two."

Haewon looked at her apologetically, seeing the hurt in her eyes. She responded softly, her tone sincere, "I know, Do-hee. I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier. It all happened rather unexpectedly, and we didn't get a chance to talk about it together earlier."

Wonwoo chimed in too, his expression serious, "It wasn't intentional to keep it a secret. We just wanted to figure things out between us first before telling anyone."

"Figure what? What to do after you made my best friend impregnant?" Do-hee fumed beside me.

I could feel the anger and hurt bubbling up inside of her, and I understood her feelings all too well. I reached for her hand, gently taking it in mine and giving it a reassuring squeeze. "Love," I said gently, my voice soothing. "I know you're upset, and you have every right to be. But let's hear them out first, okay?"

Do-hee looked at me, her eyes swimming with conflicting emotions. She was clearly hurt and upset, and the revelation of Haewon's pregnancy seemed to have intensified her anger. But she nodded, her eyes narrowing slightly as she looked at Wonwoo and Haewon. Haewon looked at Do-hee, remorse in her eyes. She spoke, her voice soft yet firm, "I know this is a lot to take in, and you're upset. And I'm sorry for not telling you sooner. But I promise, this wasn't a mistake. Wonwoo and I...we have feelings for each other. Deep, genuine feelings."

"Since when?" She asked.

Haewon sighed, her eyes meeting Do-hee's. She spoke gently yet honestly. "It's been about a year now. Initially, it was just a casual thing, no strings attached. But over time, we both started to realize that we have developed feelings for each other. Neither of us meant for it to happen, but it did, and we couldn't ignore them." She paused, a small smile forming on her lips. "And then, just about a month ago...we found out that I'm pregnant."

Wonwoo chimed in, his eyes softening as he looked at Haewon. He tightened his grip on her hand, his voice steady and sure. "We were both shocked at first. It wasn't something we expected. But once the shock wore off, we talked. And we realized that we want to raise this child. We've both grown to love each other deeply, and this child will be a product of that love."

Do-hee's anger seemed to ebb a little at Haewon's words, her shoulders slumping slightly. But her voice still held a hint of hurt and betrayal. "So you've been keeping this from me for a whole year? How could you? We're supposed to be best friends. Weren't we always open with each other about everything?"

Haewon looked at Do-hee, her face reflecting remorse. She spoke softly, her eyes filling with tears, "I know, and I'm sorry, I really am. I didn't mean to hide it from you, it just sort of happened. We didn't know how to handle our feelings, and it all spiraled from there. And by the time we wanted to tell you, I got pregnant, and things snowballed."
