I looked at myself in the mirror, adjusting the straps of my dress and checking my hair one last time. I had chosen a simple yet elegant dress for the occasion, keeping my accessories minimal but tasteful. I was feeling a mixture of anticipation and excitement, eagerly awaiting the arrival of Mingyu. Just then, my phone buzzed on the dresser, alerting me to a new text message. I quickly grabbed it and read the message from Mingyu

Mingyu

I'm outside. Are you ready?

I smiled at the message from Mingyu, feeling a flutter of excitement in my chest. But instead of heading to the front door right away, I typed out a quick response on my phone.

Why don't you come inside instead of waiting outside? It's too cold out anyways.

Mingyu

Just come outside. I have something for you.

I stepped outside and saw Mingyu standing there waiting for me, a bouquet of flowers in his hand. He was dressed in a black polo shirt and jeans, looking effortlessly handsome as usual. My heart skipped a beat at the sight of him, and I couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement. As I approached him, he smiled and held out the flowers to me. "These are for you," he said, his voice warm and affectionate.

"Are these those Lego flower bouquets?!" I exclaimed excitedly.

Mingyu chuckled, clearly pleased by my reaction. He held the bouquet out for me to take, and as I took it, I realized that it was indeed a Lego flower bouquet. He had made me a whole arrangement of colorful Lego flowers, each one meticulously crafted and arranged in a beautiful pattern. "Do you like them?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

I couldn't help but smile widely as I looked at the colorful Lego flowers, feeling a wave of affection for him and his thoughtfulness. "I love them," I said, my voice filled with genuine surprise and joy.

I brought the flowers up to my nose and inhaled their plastic scent, jokingly asking, "Are these the latest trend in flower bouquets?"

Mingyu laughed at my joke, clearly enjoying my reaction. "Yeah, didn't you hear? Lego flowers are all the rage now," he said with a smirk. "Much easier to keep alive than real ones."

I chuckled, holding the bouquet close to my chest. "You're ridiculous," I said, though there was no bite in my words. "But thank you. They're perfect."

Mingyu's expression softened, a warm smile on his face. "I'm glad you like them," he said, reaching out to tuck a strand of hair behind my ear. "And speaking of perfect, you look beautiful tonight."

I blushed at his compliment, feeling a flutter of butterflies in my stomach. No matter how many times he said it, his words always managed to make me feel butterflies. "Oh, stop," I said, feeling a bit embarrassed. "But thank you. You look handsome too. So, where are we going?" I asked excitedly.
