"Wait, look at this one!" Do-hee pulls on Mingyu's hand, making him stop in his tracks on the sidewalk again. But she can't help it. Almost every store on this street has the cutest children's clothes she's ever seen and Jaewook would be adorable in the outfit displayed in the window. Mingyu tries to keep moving forward, but she pulls on his hand until he relents and follows her into the store. "We were almost to the car," he says. "So close." Do-hee shove the bags of kids clothes she's already bought into Mingyu's hands and then find the rack with the toddler sizes. "Should I get the green pants or the yellow ones?" She holds them up to Mingyu and he says, "Definitely yellow." The green pants are cuter, but Do-hee goes with his choice simply because he volunteered an answer. As much as Mingyu likes shopping for clothes he's starting to get tired, and this is only the ninth store Do-hee forced him to follow her into.

"I swear this is the last one. Then we can go home." Do-hee gives Mingyu a quick peck on the lips before walking to the register. He follows her and pulls his wallet out of his pocket. "You know I don't care, Love. Shop all day if you want. He only turns three once." Do-hee hand the clothes to the cashier. She must've recognized them both judging how big her eyes got.

However maintaining her professionalism she gave a polite smile and says, "This outfit is my absolute favorite." She looks up at us and says, "How old is your little boy?"

"He's our nephew. Tomorrow is his third birthday."

"Ah, perfect," she says. "Would you like this in a gift box?"

"No, a bag is fine." She tells Mingyu the total, and as he's paying, the cashier looks at her again. "Big fan of you, Mrs Do."

Mingyu takes the bag and the receipt from her. Before Do-hee could respond to her, he chirped in saying, "Yeah, me too. I'm also a big fan of my wife. After all these times she still manages to make my heart beat faster. I'm so lucky to be her husband" The cashier gave a huge smile at Mingyu swooning over how he talks about Do-hee. He always takes it a little too far. Do-hee grabs his hand and mutter a thank-you to the cashier, pulling him outside as fast as she pulled him inside. When they're on the sidewalk again, she slaps him on the arm.

Mingyu winced, rubbing his arm where Do-hee had slapped him. He couldn't help but chuckle, amused by her quick transition from happy shopper to playful hitter. "Ouch, what was that for?" he teased, a cheeky grin on his face.

Do-hee, still holding onto a few shopping bags, gives him a half-serious, half-playful glare. "Oh, you know what it was for. You always do this. You go overboard with the compliments and make me seem like this perfect wife."

Mingyu chuckled again, his grin growing even wider as he feigned innocence. He held up his hands in surrender, though he knew he was guilty of exactly what Do-hee had accused him of. "Hey, I can't help it if you are the perfect wife. And I mean it every time I say it. You deserve all the over-the-top compliments."

Do-hee rolled her eyes, but a hint of a smile tugged at the corners of her lips. "You're insufferable, you know that? Always laying it on thicker than the foundation I wear for photo shoots."

Mingyu laughed, enjoying the playful banter with Do-hee. He threads their fingers together as they begin to walk. "And you love every minute of it, don't deny it. You secretly live for all my over-the-top compliments and cheesy lines."

Do-hee rolls her eyes, and he squeezes her hand as they cross the street together.  For the past five years, Do-hee and Mingyu have undergone a remarkable transformation. What started out as a fake relationship for their convenience had gradually evolved into a deep bond of love and comfort. However, like many couples, they have also faced their fair share of challenges. There were moments of miscommunication, avoidance, and fear that nearly caused their relationship to crumble. Just when it seemed like their relationship was on the brink of collapsing, something remarkable happened. They both came to a realization: the relationship was worth fighting for, worth fixing, worth rebuilding. And so, they chose to face their issues head-on, to communicate, and to rebuild their trust and love for each other, brick by brick. The road was not without its challenges, but their love and determination shone through. Today, they were stronger, more secure, and more in love than ever before. It was a testament to the power of communication and the resilience of the human heart. Mingyu has been the constant fighting force behind Do-hee's healing. Over the course of their five-year relationship, Do-hee has consistently felt immense gratitude towards Mingyu for his unwavering support and unwavering presence in her life.
