Chapter 24

*Caroline's P.O.V*

Niall makes it so hard to be mad at him, he's such a sweet heart. He honestly couldn't hurt a fly, but I'm not one to judge. Its funny that all in the begginning I saw him as some bad boy who smoked, flirted with every girl, and dumped every one of them on the way back. But really he was amazing. I couldn't imagine anyone having a problem with him. I mean the constant jealousy could be a semi-problem, but you know I would to if I saw Niall going all googly eyes for some other girl.

Not that I did that with Jack.

"Good morning, princess." Niall grinned pecking my forehead. I sneezed trying to guard my mouth from Niall. I didn't want to get him sick to, that was the last thing he probably needed.

"Bless you." He chuckled leaning over towards my night stand to pull out a tissue. He handed me the white paper and I blew my nose in the other direction.

"I'd rather get sick & be able to hold you, and kiss you than not." He pulled the tissue from my grasp and tossed it in the waste bin.

"B-but I don't want to get you-" Sneeze. "Sick." Another sneeze.

"Don't worry about it," He leaned in and pecked my lips."You're lips are so dry."

"I know. Its hard to breathe out of my nose." I whined. I licked my lips trying to get rid of the chapness.

"Here, allow me." He reached back over towards the table and grabbed a chap stick. He applied some on my mouth. It felt so much better, not cracked. God, if I had to do that I would be so repulsed.

"Thanks," I blushed. He pressed his lips to mine again closing the space. We kissed for a while just enjoying eachothers company. He was so enjoyable to be with, the way we could kiss endlessly and not care where time went. I loved kissing him, I felt so. . . .safe.

I heard the door creak open and a little voice squeel, "EWWWW, ITS CHRISTMAS. PRESENT TIME." I looked up from Nialls face, bright red, and a rosy nose stood in front of me. Maggie giggled running down the hall in her pink, princess feety pijamas.

"Did you ever act like that?" Niall asked getting out of bed. I shook my head, I was never super active that I remember. I remember being some book worm, and a teachers pet. Niall chuckled and held out one of his t-shirts in front of my face. He helped me slip my arms in and it fell over my body reaching mid-thigh. I didn't have any pants on either, & Niall being a boy he was eyeing me up and down.

"Even how much I love seeing your arse, I'd perfer you to wear some pants so that Steve guy doesn't go crazy." He threw some sweats at me and I spit my tongue out.

"Maybe I want him to." Nialls eyebrows furrowed and I let out a giggle.

"The only boy going crazy for you is me."

"Makes two of us."

Niall came toward me snaking his arms underneath my thighs lifting my feet up off the ground. I let out a little squeal as my head was above his. He pressed his lips back to mine allowing my hair to fall over his forehead.

"Come on, lets go get some presents." Niall breathed out loosing air. I nodded getting off of him. He entwined out fingers as we made our way down the stairs.

"There they are." My Aunt said motioning towards me to sit down with Maggie and her. I sat crossed legged by the tree and Maggie ran underneath it grabbing a larger box.

"Here, this is for you Car-Car"

"For me?" I act surprised taking it gratefully from Maggie. I read the name tag and it said 'Steve & Auntie' I smiled at them and Steve was grinning. I opened up the wrapping paper slowly and I felt Niall's hand reach around my waist. He fisted my shirt almost pulling me closer to him. I finally tore off the discarded wrapping paper leaving a naked box.

"What is it?" I asked puzzled. It was large, larger than I expected.

I opened it up cautiously and peered inside. Inside was an Iphone 5 on the bottom sitting there in a pink case that said 'infinite love 12-5-13' That was the date Niall had asked me to be his girlfriend. I grinned picking it up in my hands twisting it underneath my fingers. Niall looked down at my face kisising my cheek. "Do you like it?" My Aunt blurted out.

I let out a giggle nodding fast. I pressed a kiss to Nialls lips and looked back to the case.

"I love it," I could feel heat growing on my cheeks as Niall squeezed my thigh.

"My turn," Niall said getting up from the floor. I had ended up sitting in his lap so it was a struggle to let him get out of my grasp. "For you," Niall handed me a small pink box with a white bow on top.

"Oh god, what now." Niall had already boughten me one directions new CD, a tank saying 'Irish man's girl', some yoga pants, a card from Maggie, 200$ from Steve, and concert tickets for one direction this summer.

"You'll see," Niall grinned putting it in my hands. He sat behind me straddling my back as I tore the wrapping paper open.

Inside was a white, velvet box I lifted the top up and there sat the most beautiful peice of jewlrey I had ever encountered. It was a silver locket, with little white carvings inside. I opened it up and there was a picture of Niall & I kissing on the ferris wheel. On the other side it said '12-5-13' again. It was so beautiful. I couldn't imagine how much it must of cost. There was another photo on the opposite side of me grinning real big with my surfboard.

"Its amazing" I breathed out trying to hold in tears, they were happy tears though. "Thank you so much, Ni." He smiled wrapping his arms around me. I laid on him snuggling my head into the crook of my neck. I heard a snap of a camera and I turned to my Aunt.

"Memories!" She chuckled showing it to Maggie. There was no smile plastered on Steve's face, more a weird smirk. It was really weird.

Don't let it bother you, Caroline. This is Niall and yours moment.

"I'm so glad you like it," Niall continued peppering kisses on my cheek.

How could this boy possibly get any better.
