Chapter 46

*Caroline's P.O.V*

"Someone's at the door, sweetie." My Mum retorted sliding her head a bit into the crevice of the doorway. I was sitting, cuddling with Niall on my bed listening to pandora on my laptop like usual. I completeley forgot we were expecting guests. Niall jumped up exctied seeing he hadn't seen Lou & Haz almost all summer.

"Tell them we will be down in a minute," I replied going into the bathroom. Niall crossed his arms leaning on the bathroom door observing me.

"What?" I asked. I put a brush through my hair and went back into my bedroom getting out of my yoga pants. I pulled on a new pair of denim shorts and Niall chuckled. "Seriously, what?"

"I think its funny how concerned you are with your looks."

"That is funny why?" He stepped closer towards me pinning my body to my dresser.

"Because you don't need to be," He breathed onto my neck leaving a light peck onto the skin. "You're perfect in whatever your wearing. More importantly, a guys best friend is yoga pants."

I scoffed shoving him away from me, "Come on, blondie." He took my hand and followed me down the flight of stares. We met Harry's, Lou's, and Eleanor's stare. Eleanor stood up breaking Niall & I's bond and tackling me to the floor with an embrace.

"El don't kill her!" Louis hollered trying to help me up. I chuckled, "Its fine." I hugged her again but more civilized this time.

"I missed you so much," She whispered squeezing the living daylights out of me. "Touche," I choked. Niall was giving those weird bro hug things to Harry & Louis while El & I continued are bone crushing hug.

"Leave some for us," Harry whined. El rolled her eyes letting go of me and I went to hug Harry.

"Haven't gotten any uglier," He whispered making me leave him a elbow in the abdomen. He winced in pain which left Louis laughing as he hugged me. Niall was cackling in the corner seeing I could defend myself pretty well against Harry.

He's such a douche.

"Looking great, Caroline." Louis complimented then wrapping his arm around Eleanor. We all sat on the couches, I sat close to Niall's body keeping his arm tightly secured around my body. Harry, Louis, and Eleanor sat agacent to us.

"Where's Lea?" I quizzed.

"She had to go look at some college's with her parents, she still has senior year to get through." Harry chuckled.

"How's your summer been?" El asked motioning towards Niall & I.

"Fun," We smiled in unison looking at eachother.

"You guys are so perfect for eachother, JUST GET MARRIED ALREADY," El pouted.

"We still have college to get through, then we'll see." Niall said pushing a piece of hair away from my forehead. He placed a kiss to the open skin and I leaned my head against his shoulder blade.

"He just fell off?" Harry said between cackles.

"Yep, me & all." El & Louis were snickering as Niall brought in pizza that we ordered.

"What are you telling them now?" He groaned.

"How you fell off the dolphin dropping me," Niall rolled his eyes, "It was an accident! The Dolphin was fiesty!"

"Maybe the dolphin was looking for a play mate too," Harry continued chuckling taking a piece of pizza.

"You're sick, mate." Niall stated. Harry seamed content with himself after laughing for a good 20 minutes and we all ate pizza in silence. We had spent the day talking, laughing, and catching up. They were more than just a band to me now, they were my real friends. I knew once they had to go back I would miss them like crazy. I still didn't even know what uni I was going to anyway.

*Niall's P.O.V*

"Bye, everyone." Caroline gave El another hug and they all gave us a quick wave before going back to their car. I cupped Caroline's hand in mine giving her knuckle and peck and walking upstairs with her swinging our hands back and forth.

"The dolphins, really?" I retorted now. She cracked a smile that turned her cheeks a light shade of pink. I chuckled ruffling her hair. She hopped on her bed snatching her phone and looking at it intently.

"What is it?" I wondered sitting next to her.

"Is it okay if I go out for a bit? I need to go see a friend." She said getting off of the bed to grab a jacket.

"What friend?"

"Jack," She slowly pushed out. Jealousy automatically began bubbling inside of me. It took everything in me not to yell a no. I couldn't do that to her, I didn't control who she hangs out with. "I'll be back later tonight," She reasurred pecking my lips. I pulled her neck in a bit kissing her longer than she had intended to but she pulled back. "I'll see you later," She gave me one last peck then left the room. I sighed leaning back on the bed noticing she left her phone.

She was probably already down in the garage so there was no use of running it to her. Being the snoop I am I went right to her messages scrolling through one's from Emma, then El, then Jack.

I started reading them silently.

Jack: Just flew in, I'm staying at the Hilton. Come visit? x

Caroline: Of course! Let me just go tell Niall I'm leaving. Be there in 20 x

Jack: Can't wait xxx

Anger boiled in my blood, my teeth grinding, my eyes were bulging at the words I read. He definitely planned to do things other then 'visiting' with my Caroline.

Yes, I'm a jealous person. But that doesn't mean my senses are wrong when I know a cheater when I smell one. Not that Caroline is a cheater, but I think Jack has something up his sleeve that Caroline isn't detecting.

I waited to long to find my princess, I'm not going to let everything slip away for nothing.
