I wake up at 9:30 today. I am gonna go to the train station again to see if Lucy Gray comes back. Feebee won't be sitting with me today. She said her Dad needed help at the bakery today so I have to sit alone at the train station today.

I get out of my cot and I put on a blue thin strapped dress with dark blue flower embroidery on the top and at the bottom of the dress and I pick up two books from the pile of books near the window. I also pick up Cuppy from my cot and I go and climb down the ladder of the loft. I get myself a bag for my things and I put my two books and Cuppy in my bag and I eat a slice of bread before I go. I fill up a jar with water and I fill up another jar with strawberries before I put those two things in my bag also.

"Tam Amber I'm going out for the day, I'll be back by sundown" I say walking out the door and towards town

I don't hear Tam Amber say anything but I assume he heard what I said. I keep walking towards town. Yesterday I didn't have to stop halfway through but three quarters of the way through so hopefully this time I'll be able to walk all the way to the train station without stopping to take a break. I wish Feebee was coming to the train station today we talk about anything and everything. She says she has a stuffed bunny too that she likes to take places with her also, she said tomorrow she will bring it with her to the train station. She also doesn't think I am weird most people with me being apart of The Covey and just being weird in general. She doesn't judge when I move my hands or I make random noises with my mouth which is nice most people make fun of me when I do it.

I get to the train station and I sit in my regular spot flipping an empty bucket over and sitting down. Right as I put my bag down the first train of the day comes in. It is the 10am train. There are four trains that come in a day one at 10am one at 12pm one at 2pm and one at 4pm. I look at the train seeing if anyone gets off the train, but no one does. I put my bag down next to me and I take a book out of my bag, this time it is about animals. It's super old and some animals that we have now aren't in the book and some of these animals are extinct because of something. I think it's what they call global warming. I wouldn't know I don't really read history books they're a bit boring anyways. I have already read this book so most of the facts they are saying I already know. Sometimes reading the same books over and over again gets tiring but I would rather read than do nothing because doing nothing is more boring than reading a book you have already read like a thousand times.

I keep reading my book but also looking at everyone who is passing by. They are all usually covered in coal dust or they are peacekeepers just trying to make sure everything is going smoothly. Nobody pays attention to me really except for this one peacekeeper who keeps walking past me and looking at me. I act like I don't notice because this peacekeeper is starting to get a bit creepy, but I push it off as nothing until he walks past for like the 50th time and I can't take it anymore

"What do you want?" I ask when the peacekeeper walks past again squinting at him

"I've seen you here for the past two days, what are you doing at the train station? what are you waiting for?" The peacekeeper asks

"I'm waiting to see if my sister Lucy Gray is gonna come back from The Hunger Games" I say looking at the peacekeeper

I know always to tell the truth to a peacekeeper they are dangerous and shouldn't be messed with at all. If you do or say one thing wrong it could be the end of you because of a peacekeeper and I wouldn't want that before I get to know if my sister Lucy Gray is alive or not

"Well there is a train coming in from the capital today" the peacekeeper says

"And where do the rest of these trains go?" I ask
