We walk into the locker room of the gymnasium of the peacekeeper base. I don't like it here, it just gives off bad vibes. I sit on a bench and keep my book in my lap. My eyes dart around as I look around the locker room. I want to go home now. I want to go home. I clutch on to my book tightly as tears start to come to my eyes. My legs bounce up and down. I can feel my anxiety rising. Lucy Gray crouches down in front of me and wipes some tears from my cheeks. "I want to go home," I say quietly.

"I know, but you can't stay home alone," Lucy Gray says.

"Why?" I ask,

"You know why." Lucy Gray says,

"I don't like it here." I say as more tears fall down my cheeks.

"Why sweetheart?" Lucy Gray asks,

"Something feels wrong about it." I say my tears now falling faster down my cheeks. I can hear people filing into the gymnasium and my breathing starts to get quicker. I don't want to be in here alone something bad will happen. Something bad is going to happen.

"Deep breath, it's ok, you're safe," Lucy Gray says. But I don't feel safe I feel anything but safe. I don't want to be here alone. I don't want them to go on stage. Maude Ivory is just about to go through the blanket. "Maude Ivory, wait a few minutes," Lucy Gray says.

"Ok!" Maude Ivory says skipping back towards everyone else.

"Follow my breathing, in, out, in, out," Lucy Gray says. I follow her breathing starting to calm down a little bit but not completely. Lucy Gray wipes more of my tears away and gives me a tight hug. That's when I hear applause and Maude Ivory's voice.

"Hey there, everybody! Tonight is a special night, and you know why! It's somebody's birthday!" Maude Ivory says,

"Ok, I have to go out soon. I will come back in and check on you. Read your book and when I come back give me a couple cool facts and then we are going to talk to Coriolanus." Lucy Gray says,

"Why do we need to talk to Coriolanus?" I ask,

"The night at the Hob and you remember the mayor thinks it's me?" Lucy Gray says, I nod at what Lucy Gray says. "Well since you were there I was thinking the two of us could talk to him, ok?" She says and I nod a little bit, and Lucy Gray kisses my forehead right as Maude Ivory sings the second round of the happy birthday song.

"I love you, I'll see you in a little bit, ok?" Lucy Gray says, and I once again nod and Lucy Gray goes through the blanket to the stage. I open my book starting to read it. Trying to find some good interesting facts that I could tell Lucy Gray. Although I have read this book what feels like a million times I want to make sure I hadn't missed any of the good ones. Then I hear someone coming in I assume it's Coriolanus.

"She's on stage still Corio-" I say looking up and realize it isn't Coriolanus.

"Well hello there pretty." Andrew says moving closer to me. I quickly stand up holding my book in my hands moving away from him.

"H-how did you not become an avox for what you did to me. Someone saw what you did." I say as I keep moving away from him. He gives a sinister chuckle.

"You think I would get in trouble for something like that little girl." Andrew says,

"Yes what you did wasn't right." I say maneuvering myself around the locker room so he can't get to me.

"Right or wrong they don't care," Andrew says. "Now stop moving away I need to finish what I started." He says moving faster around the locker room.
