I wake up to the birds chirping around the cabin. I smile a bit and I snuggle closer to Lucy Gray. I missed this so much. I missed nature and I missed the birds. I missed the animals. I missed home and the Covey and we finally made it out of the Capitol. It's finally warm enough that we can go swimming in the lake. I'm pretty sure the rest of the Covey is coming today so we can go swimming. I sent a letter to them. Bean took it to them, I was teaching her to get the mail while we were in the Capitol. They said Feebee is coming too. I am so excited, I get to see her again finally. I missed her so much.

"Good morning sleepyhead" Lucy Gray says stroking my hair. I smile at her, an actual genuine smile. I'm so excited for today

"Good morning!" I say excitedly and Lucy Gray looks at me with a smile

"What has gotten you so excited about today?" Lucy Gray says jokingly

"The Covey and Feebee are coming today!" I say to Lucy Gray

"Yes they are! Now let's get up and get ready for the day and we can go catch some fish to eat before they come" Lucy Gray says

I nod and get out of bed. I go over to my pile of clothes and I think about whether I should put on my bathing suit now or later

"Lucy Gray, should I put on my bathing suit now or later?" I ask

"Later, they won't be here for quite a bit" Lucy Gray says

I nod and I take out a T-shirt with flowers all over it and a dress that goes over the T-shirt that is a light brown. I never really wear shoes unless I am going deeper into the woods so I go outside with Bean and I run around the front a bit so Bean can go to the bathroom. Lucy Gray walks out with the fishing poles and she gives one to me. I skip on to the dock and I sit on the edge waiting for Lucy Gray to find some worms. She comes to the dock with some worms and I put one on my hook and I put it in the water as I swing my legs back and forth as I wait for a fish to bite my hook. We eat fish a lot but I am ok with it. I will probably get bored of fish soon, but that is ok also. We can find other things to eat fish are just the easiest to catch right now. I catch a fish and I put it in the bucket to cook. We only need two fish and I have already caught my fish so I go and run around with Bean while I wait for Lucy Gray to be done. I chase Bean around and she chases me

"Ok Bri, let's go cook the fish" Lucy Gray says carrying the bucket and the fishing rods back inside

I walk inside with Bean and I help Lucy Gray make a fire and we put the fish over it to cook the fish. I go to the fridge and I take out some berries to eat with the fish. It takes about 20 minutes for the fish to cook completely and Lucy Gray takes them off the fire. We let them sit for a little bit before we eat them so we don't burn our mouths. Once they have cooled down we each eat our fish and some berries. I eat all of it and I look out the window of the cabin waiting for everyone to come to swim. It seems like forever sitting at the window. I decide to go sit on the porch with Bean. She goes and sniffs around in front of the cabin while I stare at the path that they should be coming from waiting for everyone. That's when I hear talking and Bean runs towards the voices barking. I get up and I go inside

"They're here!" I say to Lucy Gray smiling as I take her hand and pull her outside

We meet everyone outside and give each other hugs. I look at Feebee and I smile at her. She has grown a lot since I have been gone, I wish I could've grown while I was gone. I hug Feebee and smile

"I missed you so much Feebee" I say to her

"I missed you too!" Feebee says

"Who's ready to swim?" Barb Azure asks everyone and we all laugh

Everyone starts to take off their over layer and I run into the house and I put on my bathing suit and I run back outside jumping into the cool water splashing everyone who is in the water. We play in the water for hours getting away from the hot air that is around us. I'm surprised Feebee knows how to swim but Finn knows a lot so he probably taught her somewhere closer to District 12 then this. After some time we get out of the water to cool off and we all run around playing tag with each other and just having fun with everyone. I really missed this. I missed coming to the lake with everyone and I missed the Covey and Feebee and I missed just feeling free to do whatever I want with Lucy Gray. I just missed being home.

We all sit down and start eating some food. Feebee brought some bread from the bakery, and CC and Tam Amber go to catch some fish for everyone. We talk about everything that has happened since me and Lucy Gray have been in the Capitol. We talk about what has happened in District 12 and me and Lucy Gray explain what happened in the Capitol while we were there. I don't really speak about getting kidnapped because it is still a sensitive topic for me, but we talk about all the holidays in the Capitol, and we all sit around eating and laughing with each other like nothing had kept us away from each other for so long.
