I wake up to Lucy Gray humming and stroking my hair. I groan a bit and turn over

"Today's the day" Lucy Gray whispers in my ear

I smile a bit my eyes still closed because I am sleepy. I still do want to sleep, but I do want to see the Covey. I know today I won't get to see the Covey a lot because when we get home we will probably have to start walking immediately to the cabin because they will want to try and find us as quick as possible

"Wake up sleepyhead, we're going in a hovercraft today back home" Lucy Gray says

"We get to fly?" I ask Lucy Gray opening my eyes and looking at the huge smile on her face

"Yes we get to fly, now let's get you dressed so we can have breakfast and then go" Lucy Gray says

I stretch and yawn and I swing my legs over the bed and I walk to where my outfit is hung up. It is a green flower dress with a white Peter Pan collar with buttons on the bosom and it is sleeveless. I also have white tights, a dark green cardigan, and brown boots. I put everything on and I sit down at the vanity where Lucy Gray brushes out my hair and puts in two braids only braiding them halfway and tying them off there

"All done! Are you ready for breakfast?" Lucy Gray asks me

I nod and stand up going to grab Cuppy and taking her hand as we walk down the hallway to the dining room where Coriolanus is already sitting down and having a cup of coffee

"Good morning to my favorite girls" Coriolanus says

"Good morning" I say to Coriolanus and I sit down and I look at the food in front of me

We are having waffles and on the side are strawberries. Yum. I start to cut up the waffle into smaller pieces and put them to the side so I can put syrup on the plate. This is a good last meal in the Capitol. It is my favorite breakfast food in the world. I won't get this good of food anymore, but I don't care I get to go home. I pour some syrup on my plate and I see it spread around and I make sure it doesn't touch anything. I wait until it gets slower and I start to eat my waffle. I savor each piece of waffle and syrup. I won't get anything this sweet like ever again which is sad

"I like your outfit today Briar Rose" Coriolanus says to me with a smile

"Thank you I like it too" I say to Coriolanus

"Briar Rose we don't say that" Lucy Gray says chastising me

Coriolanus just chuckles and goes back to eating his food. I keep eating my food until I am done and I take a couple of sips of the juice in my cup. I sit there patiently waiting for everyone else to be done also

"Ok, let's get going" Coriolanus says standing up

I smile and I stand up and skip to the door. Caroline hands me a hat to put on and I put it on my head. Everyone gets ready to go and we walk to the car. They have a special place where they keep the hovercrafts. I've never been there but I have heard Coriolanus talk about it a couple of times. I look out the window looking at everything passing by. I have been in the Capitol for almost a year and this is finally the last time I am going to be seeing it. Once we get there it is super loud. I cover my ears as we walk up to the hover craft. Once the doors close I take my hands off my ears and I lean on Lucy Gray's shoulder while holding Cuppy close to me

"Let's get you buckled in" Coriolanus says putting something around my waist

I keep leaning on Lucy Gray as the hovercraft takes off. I'm not sure how long it is going to take to get there. When I had a map in my study District 12 is pretty much all the way across Panem from the Capitol.
