"Briar Rose, wake up we're here" Lucy Gray says

I groan a little bit and open my eyes squinting as the daylight pours through the window. I look out the window seeing extravagant buildings and cars. There are cars everywhere. I rub the sleep out of my eyes and I lean on Lucy Gray

"Do you want to hold Cuppy or keep him in the bag?" Lucy Gray asks putting an arm around my shoulders

"I want to hold him" I say keeping Cuppy in my arms just as the train comes to a stop at the station

"Ok let's go" Lucy Gray says picking up the bag and her guitar and holding out her hand for me to hold

I take her hand and I hold Cuppy in my other hand as me and Lucy Gray walk out of the train looking around. I don't see anyone except for one person. They walk towards us and take the bags out of Lucy Gray's arms and signals for us to follow them. They must be an avox because they aren't speaking. I move my body closer to Lucy Gray's trying to feel her close to me. We arrive at a car and the avox puts our stuff in the trunk and gets in the drivers seat. I look at the car. I have never been in a car before. The only person who has a car that I know of is mayor Lipp. Lucy Gray let's go of my hand and goes to the other side of the car and opens the door getting in. I open the door and also get in looking at the nice red leather interior. It's a very hot day and getting into a cold car sends shivers down my spine. The avox turns on the car and cold air comes out of somewhere. What is that? I move over closer to Lucy Gray and I put my head on her shoulder. The car starts moving and I move my head so I can look at the buildings. Things are still getting built back up from the war it looks like it. They have huge buildings and huge statues here.

We arrive at this huge building with many floors. I look up at it and the avox opens the door for us and me and Lucy Gray get out of the car. I grab her hand holding it tightly the pain in my shoulder coming back probably from sleeping on the train. I look up at the building feeling mini to everything in the Capitol. The avox leads us to an elevator that takes us all the way up twelve floors which is super tall. You must be able to see everything from up there. We walk into the door of an extravagant house everything is clean and polished. It's too clean. Two people come walking out of an office of sorts they walk towards us and the lady moves her hands in a way that I can't understand with the avox. The Covey and I use hand signals when I don't speak but it is different from what they are doing. The avox starts to walk away with the bag and I look at Lucy Gray holding her hand tightly. The man and lady walk towards us. The man has an expressionless face like Tam Amber but he seems to have more power and is more scarier. He has a nice suit on that looks completely new. The lady looks nicer she has a soft smile on her face and she has a tight skirt and suit top on

"Hello, I'm Mrs. Plinth and this is Mr. Plinth. But you can call me Ma. We're the adopted parents of Coriolanus" Mrs. Plinth says

"It's nice to meet you, Mr and Mrs. Plinth" Lucy Gray says extending her hand for a handshake

She shakes Mrs. Plinths hand first and then Mr. Plinths hand

"I'm Lucy Gray and this is my little sister Briar Rose" Lucy Gray says

"We've heard good things about you both" Ma says

I move closer to Lucy Gray's side not liking meeting the new people

"And who might that be in your hand?" Ma asks crouching down in front of me and pointing to Cuppy

"Cuppy" I say quietly

"Cuppy is a wonderful name" Ma says

"I have work to do, I'll see you later" Mr. Plinth says walking out the door
