[name] had woken up just in time for the party that was being held.
she was in the mansion on a spare bed beside zoro, her arms and a portion of her thighs wrapped in bandages. the same material was covering her chest, shirt off (but nami placed her jacket back around her shoulders) exposing the v-line of her small breasts, and even around her head. patches and bandaids were littered all over the cuts from that tiger guy (she forgot his name)'s knife attacks.
chopper was wailing in happiness when she first woke up, being the first to awaken besides zoro who had a similar state to her own. the reindeer kept wiping his snot over her bandages and wasn't pulling away from her, so much so that nami and usopp lost their patience and also hugged her as well.
sanji asked for a hug as well but nami slammed him away, saying that there was no space. the entire time they sobbed on her while sticking to her body like glue, robin laughed all amused. at some point, even franky joined in and had tears and snot all over his face, repeating the same words.
"sparkles, i'll never insult you ever again! you're the best pillar anyone could ask for!"
because it was true.
it was only thanks to zoro and [name] that kuma had not destroyed the entire ship. the reason they were alive and breathing, was thanks to them both.
they sustained all the injuries for their sake.
luffy didn't witness anything so he didn't know what was up, but he was glad that she was up whatever the case. he kept patting her head and asked for hugs, much to nami's annoyance.
she opened up her arms anyway, letting luffy wrap his stretched arms around him. she knew why he was okay and moving around...she knew what zoro had said to her. she knew what happened.
[name] was a very light sleeper after all.
which was why, as the crew and the people from before partied away, she sat by his side, eyes focused on his unconscious figure.
...could she have prevented this?
maybe if she fought a bit harder, maybe...maybe she could have cut off her head and given it to kuma, maybe zoro wouldn't be in a miserable state like this. maybe if she fought a little harder...
