CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR: FORGED

WITH GLOWING GOLD EYES, MAGGIE OUTSTRETCHED HER ARMS IN FRONT OF HER.

With them, she summoned both her and Grace's powers to herself. Her arms then went at the side, allowing her to absorb into her. A large cloud of gold surrounded Maggie in an interior explosion.

Maggie felt something form hard around her head as gold hugged her body. All Grace could do was cry out as her powers were being take from her. Once the last of Grace's powers were taken from her and entered Maggie, the blonde stared in shock and parted lips.

Maggie was no longer in her suit. Her hair was out of it's ponytail, a more vibrant green than before. A multi-pointed gold crown with a hole shaped like the Mind Stone laid empty. White, see-through sleeves slithered around her arms while her palms held glowing balls of gold. She wore a white colored one-piece suit with gold trim on the side. It was a material that was tight around the body but comfortable and brought out her curves. Over the one-piece was a sheer white cape and her combats boots had changed into gold high heel boots to match the suit.

In contrast to the gold glow in her eyes, he eyelids had light green eyeshadow on them while her lips were coated with a dark red shade. She had finally loomed complete... And felt complete. She felt as if she had been forged into something new.

"Oh God," Grace gasped in disbelief. "You don't know what you've done."

Maggie looked at the once witch with her glowing gold eyes. She twisted a sphere of gold energy in her hand gracefully. Both women descended from the the clearing sky as Maggie landed them down near a demolished building. Sam and Bucky watched as the rest of the scene played out as policemen scampered from behind them. The runes on the skyscrapers slowly disappeared to and the stars were revealed in the night.

Grace fell to the ground, panting and growling in irritation. She pushed back her hair and looked up to see Maggie gracefully land in front of her with an innocent expression.

"So what are you going to do with me mow?" Grace asked, her tone the same as her expression. "Are you gonna lock me up now?"

"Yeah, I am," Maggie shrugged nonchalant. "But I'll give you the role you chose. You'll be the cheery neighbor. Think of it as your punishment for destroying my family."

"No," the blonde breathed. "No, please."

"I'm sorry." The new witch gave her a look of pity, tilting her head to the side, showing her victory.

"No, you're not! You're cruel!" Grace spat as Maggie walked towards her. "You have no idea what you're doing now. You're going to need me."

"I doubt I will," Maggie answered, reaching her hand out to Grace's temple. "I'll make sure your cell is right beside Zemo's. You'll get use to him after awhile."
