I look at the horse who struggles. Its anger flashed in its eyes. I walk forward. It is afraid. I can't blame it.

"There's nothing you can do my lord. That horse is mad." A guard says.

I walk forward.

"Let go of the ropes." I say.

The guards nod. I grab a rope. I tug it gently.

"Thál, thál" I say.

(Steady, Steady.)

The horse's breath calms down. His mind turns stead. Eyowen comes forward. I pat his head repeating the elvish words to him over and over.

"I've heard the language of the elves before, but never did I thought a ranger from the north will know it." Eyowen says.

"I grew up in Rivendell. I've heard the voice of Sindarin so many times." I answer.

"His name is Ruohan. He was my cousins horse." Eyowen says.

"Cín est- na- kinglui." I say to Ruohan.

(Your name is kingly.)

Eyowen smiles at me.

"Let this horse go. He has seen enough bloodshed." I say.

"What is it Gimli?" I ask looking down at him.

"You've been disappearing quite a lot." He says.

"The wind has been changing. I've been keeping track of it." I say.

"The wind? There has been no wind." Gimli says.

"There is always wind. It wraps around the earth like a blanket." I say.

"Yet, you've been acting weird all day. For more than one day." Gimli says.

"It is time to leave." I grab him and push him onto his horse.

"Argh! You're not getting out of this conversation!" Gimli yelled after me.
