"Aragorn!" I call.
No answer. I look around.
"Aragorn?!" I call again.
The battle is over swiftly but there were some losses. I knew this would happen. I had an early warning. I should've told them all this. I should've told them everything. Why didn't I? Somehow I feel like this is all my fault. I see an orc. I grab him.
"Where is Aragorn?" I hiss.
"He's dead." The orc hisses.
"What?" Gimli asks.
"Took a little jump off the cliff!" The orc drops dead.
I let out a breath. I notice something gleaming from his hand. I find the Star. I take it. Is it really true? I turn. I run to the cliff. Nothing. No body. No Aragorn. I grip the Star. The light is still strong. My breath falters.
"Is he really dead?" Gimli asks.
"I... don't know." I say.
"Never mind that. We must get to Helm's deep quickly." King Theoden says to us.
I nod. I place the Star in my pocket.
"We must move out!" Theoden yells.
