"Mr. Frodo, are you alright?" Sam looks at me.

"Just... I don't feel it." I say.

"Feel what?" Sam looks at me.

"Hurry up Hobbit's! Hurry mustn't stray!" Gollum calls.

I turn to him.

"I don't feel his gaze." I say.

"By him you mean..." Sam starts.

I stop. I sit down on a stone.

"The fire of Mordor. I don't feel it anymore. I haven't felt it in some time." I say.

"Well, that should be good, right?" He asks.

I grip the ring.

"I'm not so sure." I say.

"Why not Mr. Frodo?" He lifts an eyebrow.

"I... can't explain it but the ring feels lighter." I say.

He turns and sits beside me.

"Mr. Frodo, it's a good thing the ring feels lighter. It means some luck!" Sam smiles.

"Hobbits! We mustn't delay!" Gollum calls.

"Thank you, Sam." I say standing up.

Sauron. I've slept with Sauron. I grip my bow. I've been so blind. I've been in a trance. I've been stuck in the shadows. I've been blind. What was I thinking. Sauron. How did I not realize it? His beauty was blinding me. He won't blind me anymore.

"You are one hard elf to track." Gimli sighs.

"Not now Gimli." I sigh.

"Now is the best time." Gimli sits down beside me.

"I've been a fool." I sigh.

"Agh. Don't say that. You? You're Legolas." Gimli says.

"He was Sauron." I say.

"What? You... oh..." Gimli turns.

I turn. This is my fault. I have to fix this. I take up my bow. I may have doomed everyone. I grip my bow. What was I thinking? Am I that blind? Gimli puts his hand on my shoulder. I look at him.

"Don't worry about it. It can't get much worse." Gimli says.

"The beacons are lit! The beacons are lit!" I hear Aragorn yell.

I turn.

"Come on Gimli."  I say running.

I follow Aragorn. He bursts through the doors.

"The beacons are lit! The beacons have been ignited! Gondor calls for aid!" He yells.

I l look at Theoden King. Gimli smiles.

"And Rohan will answer." Theoden King yells.
