I won't keep you waiting, enjoy reading!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All our attentions flips from the screen to the woman behind us.

The woman with thick long black hair that flowed down her back, her faced morphed into pure shock, eyes dilated, mouth open, trying to get words out but without any luck continued to stare at the now blank screen.

I feel my own fist clench and unclench out of pure frustration and abhorrence. The more time we take to find her, the more suffering she must endure.

No, I will find her. I will get to her. Alive.

"Kaya, go." Sakurazuki mouths out, closing his eyes. He says the words as if it pains him. This guy who couldn't care less about most people was finding it hard to make a girl leave from his vicinity.

"I can help. I'll do anything." Kaya, the daughter of Akio Hashimoto, the man who was probably now torturing the life out of Minori, desperately pleads.

The most logical scenario was that she probably had some involvement. She was with Minori when this whole shit show happened after all. And why else would she have assisted us if not to watch as we fall apart?

But everything she does, everything she says, sounds genuine. Like she too, couldn't understand her father's involvement, didn't know of it. Like if she could, she would do anything to stop this from happening.

However, as much as my instincts tells me that she most likely has no involvement, I didn't want her around either. Didn't want to take any chances of worsening or ruining the situation. We had so much more to lose.

"Go. Don't let me repeat it." Sakurazuki grits out making Kaya flinch. Her shoulders slump forwards, eyes glistening with unshed tears. She looks towards Sakurazuki one final time before she quietly turns around and leave the place.

"What do you plan on doing?" I question because I refuse to waste even a second. Sakurazuki and I decided it would be for the best if I stay down low. That way, they'll lose their guard on my end. But I was losing my patience and the thought that Minori may think I don't care about her safety is messing with me all the more.

"She already hacked into their system. We should be able to locate her soon. They'll most likely call us again in another hour. By that time we can fully confirm the location and make our way." He replies, the 'she' being Kaya who just left. I didn't even know she was a fairly skilled hacker.

I understood his plan. If we can make them underestimate us, then they'll lower their guard further. Invading their area will be easier. And her survival certain, more, or less.

"Minori has faced worst. Physical pain doesn't faze her much. Getting her out there with one of us is all she needs. At least mentally. She can uphold it." He says it monotone but that was his version of reassurance. I take it.

"What do you want me to do?"

His fingers continuously taps on the desk.

"When we get there, don't kill him."

"What the fuck do you mean?" I question, not understanding a single thing behind those words. How the fuck does he expect me not to end the life that not only betrayed the organization he worked for but also demand for it and threaten us with Minori's life?

"Minori will do it. It's her right." He simply states and as much as I want to end his life with my own hands, he was right. If anyone should finish that scum's life, it should be her.

"Would she be able to do it?"

"I'd be disappointed if she doesn't."

"Right."

"Sir, lady Minori's pulse and blood pressure is dropping." One of Sakurazuki's men alerts him.

We both turn attention to the screen with Minori's vital signs, to see the only sign of her deterioration.

"How long do you think we have?" I question. Medical knowledge was not my expertise, but I knew it that Sakurazuki has quite the extensive knowledge. He was the one who treated Minori in most injuries and simple illnesses.

"They wouldn't let her die so quickly; I'm sure they'll do some kind of first aid." He begins to tap his fingers on the desk once again. "But he's not patient and Minori would rather than die than to admit defeat. I wouldn't be surprised if she's trying to hasten her death."

The one personality trait of hers that I have now realised I have a love-hate relationship with was her stubbornness and inflexibility. If she set her mind into one thing, she'd never back down. That was the only reason why she made her way through the brotherhood and was respected by the majority of them. But right now, that personality trait was killing her.

"How did you find her the last time?" I ask.

"Security cameras." He replies flatly.

"You hacked into all of them?"

"We have access to them." He corrects.

I forgot, they were well affiliated with the government and therefore their services. It'd be worthwhile if we were able to have free access to all those things in the future. Wait . . .

"Did you look into the cameras?"

"Kaito, go tell them to find Minori from the CCTV  from when she was at the cafe and follow her." Sakurazuki orders. I suppose a few things does slip this rock like guy.

"Got it." Kaito replies before he heads over to the other computer techs.

"I'm so stupid." Sakurazuki releases a frustrated sigh.

"We're just desperate. But its only a matter of time before this all ends." I say certain of the outcome. She will be fine. She is strong and resilient. This will end. "And just to warn you, I'm not letting her go after this."

"That's for her to decide."

"But you won't interfere?"

"You shouldn't worry about me interfering, you should worry about him." He turns his head around towards where a man that looked very much like him but had the piercing eyes I was familiar to. The eyes she had inherited from her father.
