New Chapter!!!❣️‼️
This is a short chapter so I'll post another one soon!!
Have fun reading🌬️🫧
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Although I deluded myself into thinking that this man was friends with presumably everyone, it seems he too, does have enemies.
In this case, they loved to chase.
I can practice martial arts for hours on end but cardio workout is not my thing. Running was not my thing. I came here to hike, clear my end, sharpen my skills with a rifle but here I was running for dear life.
With every foot forward, my feet sinks into the earthy ground but it feels as though I was being engulfed. Like I was about to drown into misery and demise. With every few steps, branches on the ground snaps so loud, I flinch every time.
One could say we were a coward, quite literally running away from our problem. And maybe we were, but I for the most part treasured my life and vital organs thank you very much.
What was not helping this issue was what I noticed ahead.
A cliff? Or was it a waterfall?
Yes, it was a waterfall.
I could hear the sound of water crashing to whatever it was down below. As every second passed by, the rumble from the waterfall drowns my ears until that was the only thing on my mind.
"You better have something in mind if you're leading me here." I shout out as he continue to pull me and run.
"Its either die in their hands or die from nature. Your choice." He replies like it was the most logical solution. If he wasn't here, I would've never have been in such situation. How dare he sound like it was my problem. There was something sickeningly wrong with him. I try to pull away from his grasp, but he doesn't allow for it to happen.
I completely forgot that his touch was on me. I never forget when someone touches me. He was sick in the head, but it seems I was too.
Just a few inches away from our fall to death and he stops, bringing my body close to him, almost as though he was shielding me away from them. But that couldn't be the reason.
He brings out his gun and shoots one of the few running towards us, before tossing the thing away. Meaning there were no bullets left. More of his said enemies rushes forward but without warning, he picks me up and then we were falling. Falling down the waterfall.
And crash.
The current strong and surprisingly unrelenting.
I didn't feel him anymore.
I needed to get out.
I needed to breathe.
I needed to control everything I can.
But nothing seems to be working.
I try to swim to wherever the water meets the ground but I couldn't feel anything.
I thrash and thrash but nothing. Nothing was working.
I try to come for air, but no air comes in.
I try to breathe but all that keeps coming into my mouth was water.
Lots of water.
I couldn't see.
I couldn't hear.
I couldn't feel anything but water.
I couldn't breathe.
I need to breathe. I need to breathe. I need to breathe!
But my . . . body . . . feels weak . . . and my mind . . . turns blank.
