Catalina did not know what she did to ruin her friendship with Sofia. For years from the moment the two have met, they have done everything together and spent countless nights watching gossip girl or pretty little liars.

They were the friends in movies that everyone wanted to be friends with. But what she didn't catch on to, was how those friendships always seem to end after one friend betrays the other.

And now, here they sat across from each other in the locker room at halftime, glaring at each other. Somehow, they were down by two goals and Sofia was taking out her anger on Catalina as their teammates listen quietly. Things were already rocky between the two girls, and that did not go unnoticed by the fans either.

"All i'm trying to say is that we need to stop fucking up our chances at scoring. Maybe we should put Catalina on the bench for a game? What's the harm of playing new players?" The older girl looked at Carlo who stared right back at her with his blank face, not giving any reaction.

Catalina had an angry look on her face as she looked back at Sofia. "Why is always about me? Why is it always my fault?"

"I'm sorry, isn't everything about you now?"

Fed up with her bullshit, Catalina started arguing back with the same tome as Sofia. "I don't see you trying on the field! You just stand there waiting for ball to magically appear at your feet! It's funny how you talk about creating more chances when you don't even do anything yourself."

Sofia was silent for a few moments and went to speak up again before the coaches interrupted her. "Both of you shut up! We have ten minutes now before we need to go back out there. If you guys don't sort your shit out, i'll bench the both of you!"

Both Catalina and Sofia nodded while Eder Militao grabbed Lina's hand, silently saying that he had her back. "Good, now let's talk gameplay."

"Well that was a complete shit show. How the fuck did we even tie that?" Catalina let out as she slammed her boot on the floor.

The other players were not happy with the result as well, and walked in angrily that they managed to tie against a lesser team. But a tie is better than a loss right? Sergio and Catalina had scored for their teams, but it still wasn't enough for the team to take the win.

After a long speech from their manager and coaches about what to do better next time, they left the room and stadium quickly. Knowing what was going to happen between the teammates, they left the players in there sitting quietly in awkward silence.
