tw: mention of taking sleeping pills

Today, Catalina was with her Spain squad. She was happy to see her friends that don't play for Madrid and to catch up with them. The only problem was the second coach....Jorge Vilda.

Catalina did not agree with most of his ways of coaching and honestly couldn't stand the man. And she knew it would be a long week of practice when Luis Enrique wasn't able to join this month cause of covid. Which is also another reason as to why they shouldn't even be having practices this week.

It was currently March and their games were obviously cancelled and postponed for everyone's safety, but what difference did that make if they're still having training sessions? A little mask covering your mouth isn't going to change anything. She understood having to keep your body healthy, but what she didn't realize was how far they would go to do that.

Catalina was someone who loved working out, whether she was doing something as simple as just running or doing her whole workout routine, she's always found it relaxing. But she was always smart enough to not overwork herself to the point of almost passing out and becoming burnt out. Her dad had helped a lot in the process as well, and made sure to never let his kids take it too far.

But now there was nothing she'd love more than to just lay in her bed and sleep for the rest of the day. It was obvious that no one wanted to be there anyways and were only going because they quite literally had too, well according to Vilda anyways.

"Girls, come on! You need to run faster to stay in shape!"

Oh yeah...did she forget to mention that he only trains the girls and not the boys? The boys get a different trainer while the girls are stuck with him. He said something about how they needed to restrict the practice sessions and decided to have two separate groups now. The women and the men.

"I wanna punch him so badly." Mapi says to Catalina making her laugh.

"Do it. His face is very punchable, if you ask me."

"Both of you knock it off, we can't get into anymore trouble." Alexia Putellas said seriously as the three continued running around and Catalina sighed as she mustered up the energy to keep going.

When they were done for the day, all the girls sighed in relief that they could rest their bodies. It was no secret that Catalina and Vilda didn't like each other, but they had to tolerate each other for the sake of the team. He thought she was a loudmouth, obnoxious girl who thinks she knows everything about the sport, and he loved putting down her spirit anytime he thought she needed it.

"All right, come back here tomorrow at the same time." The girls stayed quiet as they looked around at each other. They have been going at this almost every day for the past month and everyone was tired.

"What if we all just don't come here tomorrow?" Someone had asked but Catalina was too tired to tell who it was.

"Then he'd just give triple as much work to do the next time we show up." Alexia countered back while the others girls agreed.
