Time dances on the edge of dawn,

where shadows waltz with the light,

and the promise of a new day stirs the soul.

Day sixteen of being a prisoner next to the sympathetic man I love had become awfully constricting.

So much so that I had started to get bored by mostly everything I enjoyed.

The floor sketches I drew had become sloppy which I noticed when I got up every morning just to erase and correct my mistakes from the previous work I had done the night before.

The meals I ate became fewer and less in amount. Nothing tasted good. I sighed more often and caught myself staring out of the window like someone who dreamed of freedom when I was actually a free person.

When there hadn't been these unpredictable threats that roamed around the city since recently.

Every now and then I caught Kaven steal glances at me and looking away immediately when caught.

His bad conscience made him do all kinds of gestures.

He cooked for me every day and even had asked Nathan and Anakin to come over and pick up the dogs from grandma's house so I wouldn't get bored at home.
He got a second iPad for me to work in home office and ordered all the books and other items, which I had on my app in my Mississippi wishlist, to his house.

My lecture books for university and more office supplies - mostly useful for architectural purposes.

How did he get access you might ask?

He stole my phone while I was asleep, sent the link of my wishlist to himself and let everything get delivered. The surprise was huge when the doorbell rang and all the packages were scattered all over the living room floor. And even bigger, when I found out what came out of the boxes.

What I'm about to say might sound ungrateful but I still felt lonely and sad.
I missed him even though we were next to each other and that made the entire situation even more frustrating.

Most nights I lied awake hoping he'd have had enough and come snuggle up next to me but that never happened. He was as disciplined as a general.
The only ones that joined me were the dogs - one of which snored and didn't let me sleep ironically.

How did he do it? He wasn't able to keep his hands to himself and now he acted like he was living with a man.
Me being away from home for so long had become suspicious as well. My mom didn't mind. She even teased me with jokes about her being ready for grandchildren but my dad would be mad. And disappointed for lying to him.
I had to come up with a solution or I was about to loose my mind.

Star gazing felt like something good to do right now so I threw my legs off the mattress and walked out of the room into the kitchen. Thank god that the weekend had arrived, I had already felt overworked even though I hadn't done anything yet. Well, technically I did but given the current circumstances I felt burnt out so no matter how much I achieved and ticked off my list, I still felt like I had a long way to go.

I went to the kitchen put some water into the kettle and let it boil while I pulled the package of camomile tea from the cupboard to my left. Also a so called passive gift from Kaven. He must have overheard my conversation with Nathan when I mentioned I liked chamomile the most of all these types of teas just as we were sitting at the breakfast table. The very next day we magically had chamomile to drink.
