Before I knew it, Dad's company went bankrupt, and our dealers requested a refund immediately. They even pressed charges against Dad. I was so devastated.
One afternoon, when I got back from school feeling sad and pale, Mom called me into her room. She told me that she and Dad had made plans to move back to our old house to get things sorted out so I could go back to living like a princess.
What the heck? They’re leaving me behind! Mom said she had already talked to Travis's parents about it, and they told her I could come live with them for a while.

I cried all night, hugging and begging her to let me come with them, but she insisted, and I had no other choice.
Three days later, I moved into Travis's family house, and they welcomed me warmly. I was already used to being with them anyway.
Things were good since our summer break was still going strong. Travis was always busy with his girlfriend, who wasn't exactly the best person, and he barely had time for me. I ended up video calling my mom and started reading on my own.
Soon, I found reading quite interesting.
Everything was going well until Travis’s dad got a call from his aunt saying that their parents had died in a brutal car accident, and they needed to go to New York.
They didn’t have a choice but to leave without Travis, with me around. I couldn't possibly go with them. His mom told me she planned on leaving Travis and me together until they came back in four weeks since we were used to being alone.
With that, we bid his parents goodbye, and Travis and I started living alone together in one house...
That's where the story began... Hope you enjoy it! And what did you think of the summary??
