The fam is using metal detectors as they walk around on a junkyard planet. Odessa huffs as she walks towards the Doctor, only to trip and nearly twist her ankle on something. Confused, she looks down at it.

Ryan, Yaz, Graham and the Doctor continue to walk around in search for the object the Doctor needs. Tilira had been dropped off at home with Alfi, per her request, just before this adventure.

"We're never going to find one!", Ryan cries out.

"Course we are. I've programmed the detectors specifically. I found seven last time I was here.", The Doctor replies as Odessa racks her brain for any idea of what she could be standing on.

"And how long did that take you?"

"It couldn't have been more than a month. Unless that was Seffilun 59."

"Which one's this?", Yaz asks.

"Seffilun 27. Maybe 59's the one with a big pile of these. That's the problem with junk galaxies, all the planets look the same. It's hard to keep track.", The Doctor admits.

"Oh gods. No, no, no!", Odessa mutters as she finally figures out what she is standing on.

"If we've wasted the last four hours on the wrong planet..."

"Doctor! Doctor! Theta!"

"Oi! Who took you rainbathing in the upward tropics of Kinstarno?", The Doctor rambles, not paying attention to Odessa's telepathic cries.

"Oh, no, no. Listen, that's amazing. I was just saying, like, needle... haystack.", Graham points out.

"Yeah, you might be right."

"Doctor!", The Doctor perks up as she hears Odessa's call at last.

"What is it, Love? What have you fou-"

The distressed look on woman's face is enough for her to step forward and uncover what she is stood on.

A red flashing light comes from under Odessa's boot.

"I'm sorry."

Odessa shakes her head.

"You can step off. It's gonna go off anyway.", The Doctor tells her.

Hesitantly, Odessa steps away only for nothing to happen. She breathes a sigh of relief before remembering that it will still go off. She takes several steps away, to distance herself.

"Theta. Move away. Get everyone away!"

"No time, Odie."

"What's she found?", Yaz asks.

"Nobody move.", The Doctor says suddenly. She bends down to scans the mine.

"Maybe. Just maybe,  if I can keep it in temporal lock... No, it's got too many sensors, it won't work. It was camouflaged! This is someone's idea of a nasty joke.", She cries out in aiming.
