Girl, Get up.

Chapter 6

It was almost 8pm and Minji and her friends were still not back at the house. Taehyung and Jennie came home about an hour ago. Hyein, Dani, Haerin and Jennie were on the couch watching a Black Mirror episode. They were so engrossed on the show that they failed to notice the group coming in.

"BOO" Chan screams from behind the couch. The girls screamed back and started hitting Chan with the pillows on the couch when they saw him laughing behind the couch. Hyewon and Minji are nowhere to be found. Felix and Chaewon were laughing at the girls' reaction.

"Where's dumb and dumber?" Jennie asks her cousins.

"They went to Minji's room to change, they mysteriously fell into a lake on our way back home and were soaked." Felix says as he looks at Chan with a disapproving look. Chan looks away and sees the cookies on the coffee table.

"Ooo cookies! Can I have some?" Chan is already stuffing his face with the cookies before the girls could even respond.

"Hey! save some for the rest of us, jerk" Chaewon says as she makes her way towards the cookies where Chan was at.

"Keep it up and you'll end up like Minji and Hyewon" Chan mumbles, mouth full of cookies.

"Try me and you'll end up in the same lake but you won't be coming back up" Chaewon says as she eyes Chan. Chan gulps and mutters a sorry before bolting up the stairs to find Minji and Hyewon.

"Do I even wanna know what happened?" Jennie asks Felix and Chaewon. The twins just shook their heads and started to complain about how they always end up babysitting the three when they think of "fun" (dumb) ideas.

Felix makes his way to Minji's bedroom. Chaewon stays with the girls downstairs to watch "Love Actually" . It's one of her favorite movies. She's a sucker for romance but she'd never admit that to anyone, especially not to Chan. He makes it a priority to make fun of all his friends. His love language is definitely bullying the people that are close to him. Taehyung makes his way to the living room and asks the girls where the troublemakers are.

"They're in Minji's room" Hyein responds, barely paying attention to her brother.

"They're too quiet. They're definitely up to something" Taehyung says out loud. He knows his sister. She's been keeping up with appearances that their parents have enforced on them but he knows her. She's still the little troublemaker that she is. Especially knowing that she's with Hyewon, Chan and Felix. Those Four are always up to no good when they're together. Felix gets influenced by them way too easily when Chaewon isn't there with him. He tries to be the voice of reason but eventually gives up and does whatever stupid idea his friends have thought of.

As if on cue, the group in the living hears a loud bang from upstairs. They can hear yelling and screaming. Thud. Someone definitely just hit the floor. Hard. The girls looked at Taehyung and he slowly made his way up the stairs. He knocks on Minji's door but there is no answer. More yelling and thuds could be heard on the other side.

He opens the door and it was not a scene that he was expecting to see at all. Chan's head was on the floor, Minji had him pinned down and in a headlock. Chan's legs were kicking up in the air as he tried to get out of Minji's hold.

"FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT" Felix and Hyewon yell as they're on the bed jumping and screaming.

"Minji, are you going to take that? He called you a little chicken head" Hyewon yells.

"Yeah, Minji! Give him hell! We all know that your head is huge. You could literally paint an actual chicken head on that forehead." Felix yells after. Minji looks up at Felix. Felix squeaks as he runs around the room trying to find an escape. He sees Taehyung by the door and makes a run for it. Taehyung lets him pass but before he could say anything he sees Minji hot on Felix's trail. Hyewon, Chan and Taehyung look at each other. They hear Felix screaming for help, his steps are heavy on the stairs. Minji isn't far behind him at all. Felix safely made it to the bottom of the stairs, he thought he was safe. And in one swift motion, he was on the ground. Minji launched herself from the fourth step on the stairs and tackled Felix onto the ground. They hear a grunt and lots of scuffling downstairs. They rush downstairs to find the sight slightly funny and at the same time concerning. On the ground Minji has Felix pinned, just like how she had Chan earlier in her room.
