Chapter 41

Minji sighs heavily as soon as they get in the car, she takes off her jacket and hat; she feels suffocated and heavy with the extra clothing. Hanni and Yunjin both look at her, worriedly. They notice how her and Haerin barely interacted while they were at school and are wondering what's going on between them.

"Wanna explain why you were ignoring Haerin earlier?" Hanni asks, she crosses her arms as she looks at Minji disapprovingly.

"Yeah, that was weird. You were acting like she wasn't even there" Yunjin tells her.

"She pulled away from me earlier," Minji says quietly. Hanni and Yunjin both look at her quizzically, they wait for their friend to explain more

"She pulled away from me earlier and told me she isn't' used to acting like that at school but I've definitely seen her flirt with Ni-ki in front of me before and she had no problems," Minji says bitterly.

"Are you jealous?" Hanni teasingly inquires, Minji sends her a glare.

Hanni's hands shot up in defense, Minji softens her expression.

"I'm just confused. She tells me she isn't used to acting like that at school but then she drags me away to an empty room, pushes me on the wall, kisses me and roams her hands all over me." Minji says exasperatedly. Hanni and Yunjin are both shocked at what Minji just said but their friend wasn't done with her ranting.

"And don't get me wrong, it was nice. I liked it a lot but that made me start to think if she's done that with Ni-ki before and it just upset me even more and ughhhh" Minji gripes. She feels her phone vibrate and looks to see that someone had texted her.

"I'll be right back" Minji says as she gets out of the car, not sparing a glance at her two friends who seem to be still shellshocked from what was said earlier.

Minji makes it her mission to just focus on what she solely came back for, she opens the cafeteria and looks for the girl. They make eye contact and Minji smiles, she heads over to the table and greets girls.

"So glad you were still here when I sent that text" A girl says as she stands up to give Minji a hug.

"Tell me about it, I thought you were ignoring me Yeji" Minji pouts at the girl as they both make their way out of the cafeteria.

"Pfft. I can never ignore you. I just got busy with some art project, I almost missed lunch" Yeji sadly says to her, Minji laughs and pats her friend's back.

"I know I know, I'm just teasing you" Minji says as they stop in front of the club room, she follows Yeji inside while the other girl rummages through her bag. Minji looks around and is amazed at all the artwork that's in the room.

"Here are the tickets," Yeji says as she hands Minji three tickets.

"Sweet! Thanks a lot Yeji" Minji says as she hugs the girl.

"Pfft! If anything, I should be thanking you" Yeji says as she slaps Minji's shoulders and they both laugh.

"We'll see you tonight then!" Minji says as she makes her way to the door, she turns around one last time and waves goodbye to her friend.

"That was fast" Hanni tells Minji as the girl climbs back onto the car. Minji gives her a big smile. Taecyeon asks the girls if they were ready to go, the girls give him a nod and the car finally starts to move.

"Did Haerin text you or something?" Yunjin asks, she's busy on her phone looking at the menu for the restaurant they were going to.

"Uhh no? It was my friend, Yeji. She gave me some tickets to IU's show tonight" Minji says as she shows them the tickets. Hanni and Yunjin widen their eyes and start squealing in excitement.
