Girl, Get up.

Chapter 27

Winter break is ending soon and Minji was sad that her siblings were leaving. She was having such a great time with them during the days that they were here that she forgot that they have to go back to Korea. Their visit here has been a good distraction for Minji, as she was busy showing her sister and brother around, she seems to have forgotten most of her troubles.

 Haerin, to be exact. Hyein has tried to talk to Minji more about it but Minji shuts her down every chance she gets and tries to divert the conversation elsewhere. Hanni is in Australia and Yunjin is in the states with their families right now. The girls planned on taking Hyein  snowboarding before they left but that plan was shut down when Minji's father found out.

Flashback

Mr. Kim tells them that it was too dangerous and that it wasn't good look for them to be doing something so rugged. Hyein and Minji didn't try to argue with him and told their friends to cancel the plan and for them to do something else instead. They all ended up in Joon's studio that day, Minji showing Hyein and Taehyung most of the artwork she has done. They each examine her pieces with awe, Minji has gotten good with her art.

"Where's the one with Haerin?" Hyein asks her sister, Minji stood at her spot frozen. She forgot that Hyein probably saw that video on Yunjin's instagram. If Hyein saw it, that means Haerin probably did too. Minji gulps hard and tries to fight off images of Haerin out of her head.

"Oh. uhm. Uhh. I don't know? Joon Oppa probably moved them somewhere" Minji tells her sister. Hanni, Yunjin and Taehyung walk in to where Hyein and Minji were at and look at the two girls.

"Moved what?" Joon says as he walks in behind Taehyung. He was showing the other three the new pieces that he was working on.

"The sketch of Haerin." Hyein says again, now looking at Joon. Joon makes his way towards a door and opens it, it was a smaller room but it just contained some finished and unfinished canvas.

"Most of Minji's stuff is in here, it's probably on one of the racks" Joon says and leaves the door open for them to check out. Minji gives him a glare before he runs off to continue on the piece that he was working on.

"Unnie....this are all..." Hyein says as she looks through her sister's works. There were some of Haerin's portraits but there's also one of Hyein and Taehyung, a couple of the city landscapes and a self portrait of Minji herself.

"Okayyyy. That's enough looking around" Minji says as she tries to push Hyein and the others out of the room.

"Awe i wasn't done looking" Hyein says to her sister with a pout.

"I was going to say that they were all amazing, Unnie! You've really improved" Hyein continues to tell her sister proudly.

"Thank you. It's nice being able to draw again without having to look over my shoulders. It makes the inspiration come in more quickly and I feel that the lines of my drawing flows in more easily" Minji says to her, she smiles as she looks at the closed door. It was true, after having some independence with her drawing, Minji could see that her drawings have improved.

"Yea, I bet the thought of Haerin comes in quick in your head" She hears Yunjin say and hears Hanni and Hyein chuckle at her. She rolls her eyes at them but still gives them a smile. Taehyung comes to her side and looks at her with adoring eyes.

"What is it, Oppa?" Minji asks her brother, Taehyung just looks at Minji and engulfs her in a hug. The three girls were surprised by the older Kim's actions and decided to give the two some space, they walked out the room and joined Joon.

"Oppa, is everything okay?" Minji asks her brother again, he's still embracing her and Minji finally reciprocates the hug.

"Yeah, I'm just happy for you, that's all." Taehyung says as he pulls away from the hug, he looks at Minji and ask her a question
