"Are you serious?" Yunjin asks Minji as they make their way towards their class.
"No, Yunjin, im fucking joking" Minji says to Yunjin sarcastically. Yunjin rolls her eyes at her friend.
"I'm not the enemy here." Yunjin reminds her friend.
"Sorry. I'm just stressed and pissed" Minji apologizes to Yunjin, she feels an arm drape over her shoulders and looks at the person beside her, it was Sunghoon. He smiles at her and she gives him a smile back.
"What's up nerds" Sunoo greets the girls, he sees Sunghoon put his arms around Minji and gives him a side-eye.
"Whatcha guys talking about?" Sunghoon asks, he puts his whole body weight into Minji and Minji pushes him off. Sunghoon laughs and Minji just frowns and continues to walk
"Well someone's in a bad mood" Sunghoon says as he joins the group again.
"I would be too if you put your whole body weight on me so early in the morning" Sunoo tells Sunghoon and Sunghoon just winks at him.
"Ugh. gay." Yunjin says to the two boys and they both give her a look.
"You're literally the gayest out of all of us," Sunoo tells Yunjin. Sunghoon stays quiet and tries to catches up to Minji
"No, Hanni has taken that spot from me" Yunjin says as she points to the direction of Hanni glued to her phone.
"Ah. Is she talking to Dani right now?" Sunoo says as he makes his way towards Hanni. He hovers over her and starts reading the text she's sending out.
"Oh Danielle, my sweet summer love, it has been exactly 84 years since I've seen your beautiful face. I yearn for your touch and your sweet voice to echo in my ears once aga-" Sunoo narration stops as Hanni hits him with her cheerleading bag. Yunjin laughs as Sunoo dramatically falls onto the floor.
"HELP! I'VE FALLEN AND I CAN'T GET UP" Sunoo yells into the hallway in particular.
"You guys are so annoying" Hanni tells her friends, Yunjin helps Sunoo up and both giggle at their friend's reaction.
A few feet away from them is Minji and Sunghoon, they've already reached Minji's locker and are talking to each other.
It took two months after their break up for Sunghoon to start hanging out with the girls again. Him and Minji both agree that they work better as friends and have started to confide in each other a lot more with their problems.
"Sorry about earlier, I didn't know you were upset" Sunghoon says as he leans in the locker besides Minji
"It's fine, i'm sorry I pushed you off earlier as well." Minji says to him, her focus is on her locker as she takes out the books that she'll need that day.
"You want to talk about it?" Sunghoon asks her, she sighs and finally looks at him. She looks at where her other friends were and sees that Sunoo is on the ground. She doesn't even wanna know what those three were up to.
"My dad. He called last night and said that my presence is required for a family dinner with the Kang's" Minji says as she closes her locker door and leans on it. They wait for their other friends to catch up to them.
"Ah. Haerin's family." Sunghoon said, he crossed his arms and looked at her.
"Is that why you're so upset? Because you have to see her?" Sunghoon asks her. Minji looks at him and shakes her head no.
"No, I'm not upset that I have to see her. More like nervous and scared? I haven't exactly told her how I felt. I haven't even talked to her for months. I'm more upset at how my father just expects me to drop everything for all his demands" Minji explains to him.
