Chapter 52

"Wait, is everyone staying over?" Minji asks in disbelief as the maids bring out extra blankets and pillows for them in the living room.

"I can leave if you want" Haerin says as she gets up from the couch, Minji immediately pulls her back down on the couch.

"You can stay, the rest of them can leave," Minji says with a smile. She hears boos and whines come from her group of friends and she laughs.

"Hey! I live here too!" Hyein cries out to her sister.

"I'm not leaving you alone with my baby sister, you heathen" Hyewon says menacingly. Minji puts her hands up in the air defensively.

"I don't know what you're implying but we will not be doing any of that stuff until after we're married" Minji says seriously, Haerin deflates beside her and looks at Minji sadly.

"We are?" Haerin asks, disappointment evident in her voice. Chan and Yunjin both laugh and Hyewon tries to keep her cool as she looks at her baby sister.

"Kang Haerin." Hyewon says through gritted teeth. Haerin huffs at her sister and gives Minji a side glance, she could see the older girl's cheeks are flushed and red. Minji shifts around the couch and jolts in surprise when her skin makes contact with Haerin. She clears her throat and ignores Chan and Yunjin teasing them.

"I'm just kidding guys, you know i'm happy to have you guys stay here" Minji tells her friends after getting over her embarrassment. She could hear her friends dismiss her playfully and pouted at them.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah" Hanni says with a snicker. Dani reprimanding Hanni with a light pat on her shoulders and Hanni mouthing a 'sorry' to her.

"Sure you are buddy" Chan and Yunjin say as they direct their attention on Felix and Chaewon, the twins look at each other and both roll their eyes. Felix clings onto his sister as Chan and Yunjin tries to drag Felix away from Chaewon.

"Chaeeeeeeeee" Felix cries out as Chan manhandles him and drags him upstairs, Yunjin laughing as she follows the two boys up the stairs.

"Don't make him cry again please" Chaewon says as she rubs the bridge of her nose, she hears Chan and Yunjin cackling and Felix yelling at her.

"I WAS NOT CRYING!" Felix screams, this makes Chan laugh harder. Yunjin looks over her shoulders and smiles at Hyein, signaling the younger girl to follow them upstairs. Hyein smiles back mischievously and makes her way towards them.

"Oh no. Those two have corrupted our precious Maknae!" Hyewon dramatically cries out as she watches Hyein and Yunjin make a face at her. She stands up and announces that she'll be joining the group upstairs to make sure that they don't take things way too overboard with teasing Felix. Chaewon looks at her cousin and stifles a laugh, she knows damn well that Hyewon was the mastermind of this prank of theirs. That's what Felix gets for doubting Hyewon earlier.

"SOoooo....you guys want to watch a movie or a show?" Dani asks the girls who were left downstairs. The girls nod in agreement, they settle on the couch as the opening of Bridgerton plays on the screen. Hanni and Dani cuddle up to each other and Chaewon fakes a gag towards them.

"You wish this was you and Yunjin, huh?" Hanni teases, Chaewon crinkles her nose and sends Hanni a glare. The Aussie girls laugh at Chaewon and call out to Yunjin to come downstairs.

Chaewon sticks her tongue out to the girls but was surprised to find a pair of arms wrapped on her shoulder. She looks up and sees that the other girl is focused on the screen. Yunjin finally feels eyes on her and sees Chaewon looking at her, she makes her way towards the couch and sits beside Chaewon. She opens her arms wide open, inviting the girl to get closer to her and Chaewon does so by laying her head on Yunjin's shoulders. Yunjin wraps one arm around the shorter girl and pulls a blanket on them with the other hand.
