Lilah sat in front of her mirror figuring out what she would be wearing to dinner with Renée, on the other side of the room laid her best friend James

"okay so do i go full hoops or should i maybe go with the studs?"

"girl all i know is you need to get ready quicker shes gonna be here anytime soon"
James said  not even bothering to look up from his phone as he texted away

Lilah looked at him through the mirror never having seen him that glued to his phone in a while

"who's got all your attention ? is it the guy you hooked up with last week?"

James snapped his neck from looking up so quickly

"what? ew no he's been blocked and it's no one don't worry"

James said with his faced yet again stuffed in his phone, Lilah got up walking over to her closet picking out a stripped blue and white button up which she left the first three buttons unbuttoned, some gold jewellery necklaces and rings, paired with blue jeans and some white sneakers.

Lilah was mainly excited for the upcoming adventures she will be having but only now realising this means leaving everything behind to tour,her friends,family,social life.

"Lilah! door's for you!" Her mum shouted from downstairs before she got out dusting herself "coming!" she replied quickly before James finally put his attention to Lilah

"you look so hot,if i wasn't gay i'd so hit"
Lilah grabbed the nearest pillow throwing it at his faced making the pair burst out into laughter
"idiot,how does my make up look?"
James grinned walking over making sure the really check
"you look hot and ready for miss Rapp"
Said James earning a hit to his shoulder from Lilah

"right you can stay here and get Amelia annoying you or leave thank you"
Lilah said in a joking matter knowing she's more than happy to have him stay before grabbing her bag and her phone
"i'll be out!"

Quick footsteps were heard as Lilah made her way downstairs to meet the blonde before she was met with her mother sat on the living sofa along with Renée.

"oh hey sorry James is up there"

Renée turned around making eye contact with the brunette for the first time since this morning

"ready to go?" Renée said with a smile to her face which only made Lilah match hers
"yeah" Lilah said catching herself surprised over her hushed tone

"right have fun girls, i'll be waiting for your dad to watch the kardashians" Lilah'smum said getting up from the sofa giving the blonde a hug
"it was so nice to meet you Renée"
"you too" said Renée with a smile never leaving her face
"come on i don't wanna miss reservations, plus im starving!" Lilah said looking over at Renée who was already making her to the door being followed by the brunette.

"alright bossy we're going" Renée said laughing reaching over to her car,the pair getting in.

"what you wanna listen to?" the blonde asked before Lilah grabbed her phone having a look through her liked songs in spotify
"you listen to my music?" Renée said catch a glimpse of her song 'moon' being at the top
"who doesn't?" Lilah said with a smile
"i love snow angel but those are the only two songs i listen to the most"
"thanks baby i love those ones too"

After a comfortable drive filled with little conversations and quietly singing songs they both arrived at the dinner.

Getting off the car the brunette made sure to grab everything she had,phone? check,wallet? check,keys? check,bag? check.
